I think you are probably right. I got a 1.22.5 at 481PP with SS tyres and with 496 PP I was about a second quicker (mid 21s). Maybe about 490 PP for me but Anon, Tec (both div 2 guys remember) and Close if he runs are probably going to be faster than me. I think 490 PP for the sport guys is about as close as you are going to get it bearing in mind all the other variables.
Im thinking around 486 will probably be enough then, probably put tek in the pro class too. I reckon at this level the sport class driver will be slightly faster but the pro class driver will be more consistent, as it is right now its hard work for me to get the standard M3 into the 21s. Im thinking of maybe making a class that uses a CSL or GTR at the same PP as the standard M3 for those drivers in Div 2.
Interested, pretty sure I have both M3's somewhere. Will drive it before I make a final decision. Don't wanna do 50 unenjoyable laps.
With tyres and fuel on very fast this will be anything but boring. There are going to be so many pits stop strategies you won't know where you are til the finish. There has to be at least two stops for fuel alone.
CSL and GTR do but the standard one doesn't and there are ways to make people run the csl and gtr at same pp as normal M3 by simply getting them to rejoin track first, whilst it is set up at their PP.
There has been a proposal tp move the Sunday night S11 race to Monday because of the long weekend. I hope they don't but just be aware as it would completely derail this race.
I will not be able to race Monday whichever race is held then which will be very disappointing to me either way
That's a shame, I suspect the S11 race will stay as it is to avoid the inevitable conflicts. I am available both nights next week so not fussed which runs which night.
Made a second Pro class for use of the Faster CSL and GTR at same PP, they are both roughly half a second faster a lap. Put Anon and Tek in there so this should make it even more interesting, rotor tends to lack a bit on unmodified races so if he wants to be in 2 I dont mind but I put him in 1 for now.
