Hey guys, Whilst sleeping last night, i thought of this idea and would like your input/ideas. An Event / Championship which celerbrates the ROOZ/GTLOZ community's 2nd birthday and acheivement of 10 seasonal events. This would give all current racers, an idea of how each season carried out, and also provide a variety of race challenges, as each race would be different. And also some ROOZ members may reminiscence of what they've attended throughout the time ROOZ/GTLOZ has been active. We will be working our way back through time from S10 to the final round of S1 in the fabled Audi. You can also change the wheels of your car in GT Auto, in the home screen of the game. TIRE REGS Tire wear and Fuel burn will be set to FAST 1x Compulsory pitstop, taken on any lap except for the end of last lap ie, must complete 1x lap before crossing the finish line, Crossing the finish line through the pitlane will mean disqualification. Tyre model will be as per below mentioned tyres for each round. You must use this compound only, even after pitting. thanks guys, hoping for a bit more input, as i know season to season there were rules differences, so i would need help (probably from someone who's been around since season 1/2) to lay down the laws so to speak for this event. i'm just a brainstormer for this, looking for someone to take it on and make it a reality if it gains huge interest. also - timing - when would it be suitable either: 1. during S10 (but i know N64thestig007 is looking for a RX7 TC Event) or 2. after S10 (maybe it can be an idea for Season 11?? thoughts/input/ideas???
Great idea beanie, it should be pretty easy to work out as most of the stuff is in the archives, it's just a matter of choosing the tracks
um, its always a hard one beannie to get a time that suits the masses. Obviously the bulk of the guys run on a sunday night, but maybe a friday night half way through the season, perhaps with a prac session after for the season 10 races might be a good way to go ? Cyber still has a few weeks to go of his enduro series on a wed, and i am looking at a prize race the week after season 10 finishes. Love the idea though, its a cracker !

The list of cars and tyres we have used is in the Hall of Fame - http://raceonoz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=1166 And there's also the Used track list with seasons used against each track, so you can pick a track that was actually used for each season. I haven't voted because I don't have GT5 anymore.. but otherwise would love to particpate!
like cyber and others said, the archives will provide all the info for rules, regs, etc. one question, assuming we'll have more than a room full of people, will it be organised in current divisions? i guess thats something we'll work out once we have an indication of the number of people definitely interested.
It's a great idea. Kind of like a Race of Champions. And we can be like Jamie Whincup and rock up drunk and perform useless.
Great idea Beannie. Aside from the 2 tyre model seasons, I dont think the regs have changed much since the start, beside whatever the game updates threw at us.
Great Idea, Id defintely be in Geez theres only a few of us still around who rolled that hideous Audi in season 1. The supra in season 2 was my favourite
yeah I'd be in for this too sounds great and I can finally see how bad that Audi was in season 2 considering thats the only car I haven't done
I'd be up for this too. Hideous Audi Carn??? There's no such thing in this world... Is there?? lol The Supra was cool, except for the lag hit I got in the wet at Monza.. Which cannoned me into those stupid solid-concrete brake markers... Race done. Hope the re-match goes better Aza... Audi was season 1 mate.. Inaugural GTLeagueOz series.
thoughts of maybe running this as a "sprint series"? say 2 races on one night but only half distance each? that way it's only 5 weeks, and could easily slot between seasons 10 and 11 ??
