Great little race cars with minimal tuning required.

    START TIMES
    - Sunday nights, with room resetting at 7:05 Sydney time.
    - 50 min prac session
    - 10 min Qualifying
    - 8PM Race start, Race lengths and formats TBC. (Normally 6 1hr races and 1x 1.5 hr enduro, but we may change this up a little)
    - Normally 1 compulsory pit stop with tyre change, but again may change this up to possibly 2 stops for some races and 0 stops for others.

The following Rules and Regs will be in place

    - Entrants MUST be a Raceonoz GOLD MEMBER to participate. This helps us pay for the servers we run on.

    - Will be a Ballast / restrictor series with weight / ballast updated after each round.
    1st
    - 30KG / 20 restrictor (max) - 2nd - 25KG / 19 Restrictor - 3rd - 20KG / 18 Restrictor....
If you have a penalty but finish OFF podium you will lose 1KG /1 restrictor. If you have penalty and finish ON podium you will add 1kg/1 restrictor. (max is 30KG / 20 restrictor)
We trailed this system in the PS4 GT4 league just gone and it worked really well to help even the field.

    - CAR - OPEN SELECTION - But must remain with that car for the 7 week series.
    - TRACK LIST -
    R1 - Misano
    R2 - Laguna Seca
    R3 - Imola
    R4 - Zandvoort
    R5 - Brands Hatch
    R6 - Redbull Ring
    R7 - HungaroRing

    - DRIVING STANDARDS- We will be using the normal Raceonoz rules and regs with regards to driving standards. With an expected larger grid, i will be encouraging everyone to race with respect for other drivers. IE avoiding contact and redressing when required. I would encourage all drivers to use the stewards group when necessary, where penalties will be added if and when required.

If you are keen to join this series in 2024 please get your entry in below and ill start to get a list together so we know how many grid spots we need (max 40 slots) and how we may look at formats / track lists.

IF YOU ARE A NEW MEMBER PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR PSN FOR ME IN YOUR ENTRY SO I CAN ADD YOU TO THE DRIVER LIST IN G-PORTAL !

    Should be a cracking series.

Need to be careful into turns 1/2 and 3 on lap 1. Stay in YOUR LANE until the whole field shakes out. This means that you dont run normal race lines on lap 1, until you know you are clear. Most of the issues we see are in the congestion, where drivers cut across another cars nose to run a normal race line, but the space isn't there yet. Be patient, and dont ruin yours, or someone elses night.
Obvious passing spots at turns 4 and 8. If drivers get a run on you avoid contact. Dont 'over defend' , live to fight another lap or 2.
DANGER SPOTS - This track always thows up some issues through 11/12/13. Its fast, some cars will have a straight line advantage, so make sure you dont punt anyone into the grandstand !
Drivers returning to the track are responsible to make a safe re entry. Use your map, and get back up to speed offline if possible.

    CAR DIFFERENCES
Stay aware of who you are racing and what car they are in. Remember with the ballast / restrictor these changes will highlight car strength and weaknesses. SOme cars are bullets on the straights and others are great in the corners. Drive to your car strengths to avoid contact.

If anyone has any issues, or questions please message in the series chat.

Driver Briefing Round 4 - Zandvoort - WET ROUND
60 Min Race - COMPULSORY STOP FOR TYRES

Great job last week guys. Minimal issues that were sorted on track . Hope we have some cracking racing this week in the wet.

Tough tight twisty track, will need to have you wits about you in the wet, particularly on the first lap.
I am going to keep the Tyre change in there, even though you could get through on the one set of tyres. Some cars do heat their tyres pretty heavy, so tyre stop will stop that from being a big issue for them.
MAKE SURE YOU SELECT WET TYRES IN YOUR PIT STRAT FOR YOUR STOP, AND DOUBLE CHECK IT ON THE GRID TO "CHANGE TYRES" IN THE CLICK BOX

QUALIFYING - As always, if you are not on a hot lap, please be aware of those around you, and those who are on "their' hotlap. Its your responsibility to find space on track to run your lap. If you are re-joining the track, please make sure you don't ruin someone else's qual run.
LAP 1 - Is a short run into turn 1, but please make sure you are aware of the concertina if you are in the back half of the grid.. Don't be the bowling ball !
PASSING SPOTS- TURNS 1/9/10 and 11. These are the spots into decent brake zones, or the track is wide enough to run 2 wide. If someone is on the inside please give them room. Things could go pear shaped for both of you real quick in the wet.
PIT ENTRY / EXIT - The control line for pit entry in very close to coming off the front straight. Dont get caught out. ON EXIT, make sure you stay inside the white exit lines, and watch for cars on a normal race lap. Drivers who DONT stay in the exit lines, and make contact will receive a penalty. Where 2 cars have overlap on pit exit, The car on the right will "own" turn 1 so long as there is suitable overlap.
BLUE FLAGS- You all know the drill. If you are getting blues, get out of the way. Dont race the leaders.

    Any issues let me know
