This is my "setup"..... I just chuck the wheel on the middle of the table when I need to drive ;)

The chair is great for playing in front of the main TV. And I can just slide the whole thing aside when I'm finished so my G25 stays bolted down. No risk of pulling chords etc. Used to just use the computer desk but got sick of moving it when I needed the computer, and sick of my roller chair shifting around!

My intermediate set-up was just two opposing dining room chairs, 4 blocks of wood, and a plain desk top plank across the top of all that wedged together!
If you got too vigorous it would all fall apart!
I've seen some pretty good home built ones before.

Nice work! Love how your shifter is right up close to the wheel.
    What model is your wheel/pedals?

I've read that's meant to be awesome, and that the pedal set-up adds alot more realism with the load-cell sensor instead of basic pedal travel to control brake strength. What did it cost you, did you have to buy it from overseas?

I bought it from an Australian distributor " http://www.pagnianimports.com.au/" for $707.00 postage included. I just pre ordered the new GT2 wheel with PS3/PC/XBOX360 compatibility.

Haha it's better than what I had before my chair - just dining room chairs and planks, very unstable!

Leeboy, did you somehow sneak into my house and steal my race wheel setup plans? It's exactly the same as mine. Very suss I think.

Hehehe, and mine.. Although, I have an extra bit on top of the right stick...lol

    I have a G25 en-route, so hopefully I'll update my wheel set-up in a few days.

    :)

The edges of my DS3 are really shiny from many years of use :)
Not to mention the dead skin...bits of animal hair...LOL, absolute quality!! How could I throw it away for a wheel?!?

lol, some great setups here. Beaut to learn about Fanatec & Paganian.

Get a wheel leeboy, is all I can say, smile.

My setup is a small work of art made of found objects. Old school.

I'll seek kid assistance in the house and post a pic

Fairly solid, doesn't move around at all. Just need to figure out where (and how) to mount a Stubbie Holder..lol
