These qually regs might need to be clarified a bit further to avoid misunderstanding. Does this ultimately mean that once we leave the pits that we can't use the 'return to garage' option. Or that if we do we can't then leave the pits again (although I don't think this would allow us to change tyre compound, but we would get a fresh set of the default tyre).
I used the rerurn to pit option the other night when I returned to track I was still on old tyres just colder!
Once you leave the pits, you have 1 set of tyres to use. If you "return to garage' then cant return to track. Is the cleanest way of doing it i think. MEans we dont have to question drivers about compound changes etc, especially with the new update due to hit soon and a possible change to grip levels on the soft and medium.
will look at it tonight. Given its only 10 min qual, and the lack of wear, there really is no need for anyone needed to go into the pits.
This makes it doubly important that people be mindful of the need to allow a decent gap in front of them before starting their flying lap(s). And also important that if a driver makes a mistake that allows someone else on a flying lap to catch them, that they allow them to pass without holding them up.
Has always been important. I’ve never really understood “racing “ in a qual session. The draft can work on a track like monza but most tracks it’s a disadvantage to be hooked up behind someone.
I haven't hosted before. Happy to give it a go. FYI my PS4 connects to home WIFI so not always the best connection.
It was before I got my rig, had to set up in the spare room which is the other end of the house from the modem.
