Good morning Roozers,

Today is the day! Finally after months of working in the background, we finally get this series started!

This afternoon, the rooms and hosts will be released while we work through the people that are late to confirm entry. I will be sending reminders again to those that have not yet responded. I will have the list of all weights for everyone tonight, remembering the weight ballast is based off season 13's confirmed divisions. So if you're not sure what weight you should be, I will be there to confirm.

Tonight we have an "Endurance" type race - 21 x laps at Tokyo East Inner Loop. I will brief everyone before the race tonight, but to confirm, the rules state you are only allowed to use one set of Soft tyres. Meaning no ducking in, one lap on meds, then back to softs. You are able to choose what tyre compound you would like to start on.

Hope to see a great turn out tonight! Looking forward to this. I will be on early with a practice room up for anyone wanting to discuss rules, regs and weights.

Please take note of which colour group you are in. These groups have been grouped in the fairest way possible, with a range of divisions in each group. Each group will compete with the other groups 3 times over the 9 rounds.
*Rooms are subject to change due to driver numbers on the night.

Please see below for spelled out rooms with the host. I will create two full party chat rooms with everyone that has signed up to the RC in there - this way with the rooms changing each fortnight, you will be able to go into either room freely if you wish.

Tonight I will be doing verbal briefing before we kick off qualifying in both rooms. Just to confirm all the rules, and answer any last minute questions.

Please note - if we only have 16 racers on tonight, we will join them all into one room. This will be decided before qualifying.

Great race and great series Udders and Xtr3meNZer, thanks for putting it on. Well done gtkingx on the pole, race win and fastest lap, too good. Close racing throughout with battles between myself, incey, Xtr3meNZer, bananajosh, groover and even apex on the last lap. Some good tactical racing with the all-important slipstream. Choo, choo!

Alright, I think that was a success! Apart from the smaller numbers than expected, but all went well.

Some very close racing last night, staying in that slipstream was extremely important to keep up (As @incey was saying, soon as you were out of the slip stream the car felt like it lost power).

Racing in the Scirocco with the Antenzas in Room 1 was challenging, though the little hatch back was able to make up the time through the back section (seems where I caught a lot of time up on the ones in front of me - also keeping it off the walls helped immensely). Spent a lot of the race trying to catch the leaders, quite a bit of time battling through the pack, with a laggy @LE_bananajosh in front of me for quite a few laps, it wasn't easy getting past (some talented drivers makes for close racing). Tried to stick with @UrsineSaturn9 throughout most of the race, using the hole punched in the air by his Atenza to keep my little hatchback up to pace, I managed to stick there, bringing home 4th in the end.

Ursine - sorry for that little cheeky move into the pits - you ended up out in front of me anyways coming out due to your fuel saving I think. Saw an opportunity to just duck in, so took it.

Banana Josh - again, sorry I wouldn't bump draft you, with your lag I was getting, I was afraid of your car would materialize inside my car if I tried it.

Congratulations @Xtr3meNZer and @THE_UNDER_STUDY on getting this up and running, it's very well thought out and looks like alot of fun for the quicker drivers.
For me it was a pretty uneventful race; someone has to finish last
But i'll take away what I can and improve throughout the season.

As the season progresses, and the faster drivers get more weight on, and the ones near the back of the field remove weight, things will be evened up. Don't be disheartened mate! We'll have more practice times and I'll see if I can help ya improve your times
