New car: 2006 C4 2.0L HDI FAP 5 Speed MT, funnily enough its my first Manual car. At 4k, Loeb would be proud.
I had a drive in a 2011 BMW M3 last weekend. Absolutely blew me away how good that car is. If I had a spare $100-odd thousand I'd buy one for sure. Nissan GT-R is still better, but the M3 is really really good! I'm still trying to convince my dad's mate to let me drive his Maserati Gran Turismo...he's stubborn though!
Musta, we're going to have to start a thread on cars you should be buying next so you can create your own thread and review them. I go through less pair of shoes than you do cars ... Lol
I actually owned a VT Commodore inbetween the Audi and this but it was soo crappy i wasnt going to take a photo of it lol.
Have had many fun toys over the years from classics to drift pigs, but these days have a 6.0l Calais V daily, And my little Zohan, a hairdresser Mx5 complete with hair dryer! Massive amounts of fun!!!
Your profile pic is proof of the fun haha. My DC2R is gone, getting my K-swapped Civic ready before I get my licence back next month
When it was a road car I used to get a lot of laughs at the lights, but never got to see their reactions because they never caught up. It took a lot of budget to beat it! It's track only these days, aiming toward doing some club level racing in the near future. Gl with the Honda, with that engine swap I should say good luck holding onto your license sounds like it will be a rocket! At the khana in the profile pic, the BYP boys were running as well, and have followed they're progress since. Seriously fast!
if you saw the one i was driving you would agree lol , mis matched pumpers and dents everywhere with no air con.
Haha thats the way man. Keeping it on the track is a good idea, I've already lost my licence in the Teg soooo lesson learnt, hopefully ;p. Yeah they definitely have some quick cars. Can't believe their EG does 10.3's with a naturally aspirated 2.4L front wheel drive lol.
I drive a Subaru liberty wagon which I love. Threw on some B4 BBS wheels and does me just fine. Would buy another subi in a heart beat. Missus drives a VZ commodore wagon which I HATE. it's a piece of Shyte and I can't wait to get rid of it. Had nothing but trouble, and the service at Holden was embarrassing. I tell people now, if it caught fire I wouldn't panic, if pull up a chair and watch it burn to the ground ! Now the kids are a bit older the missus is looking at an oddessy or some sort of 7 seater. So boring !!
I've got something similar Stu...Subaru Legacy wagon 30R - 6cyclinder 3litre - Bspec suspension. I love it. Missus has an Odyessy and it's the perfect family car - fits everybody in.
My missus has the VESV6, and while its a bit gutless, Its not to bad to drive and the only gremlin its had has been an occasional check engine light come up, but never shows anything on the scan tool. She panics, but its still going strong, and its got all its fluids, so I'm a little more relaxed about it.
My commy has been a nightmare ever since I got it. Sway bars have come loose, overheated twice due to faulty radiator caps, rear tailgate lever broke off, the gearbox computer packed it in, airbag error light showed an issue where the clock spring had to be replaced, all before 120,000 ks. One day whe you have a spare 3 hours I will tell you about the morons at Wilson's Holden and how they tried to brush me under the rug with the gearbox.
Well i have a 1993 toyota 2.2 diesel turbo people mover and if i turn hard right or left some times will spin a wheel but on the good side dose not cost me anything to run free diesel
At a learners course today I had the "pleasure" of driving an 11 month old Prius. While the course was excellent and I'm only 9 hours from going for my P's, after driving that car, I'm fairly certain I'm now a homosexual. Only thrashing the crap out some GT500's on GT6 is going to drown the memories of the painfully unresponsive throttle and unbearable acceleration...
