CRASH BANDICOOT is by far my most memorable. Its the first game I remember playing as a preschooler. Too bad the franchise went down hill after naughty dog sold the franchise (Crash Bash being the only decent game not developed by naughty dog). I spent countless hours on the 5 titles that made it to the PS1. In more recent times my favourite franchise has to be uncharted another naughty dog franchise. The story telling is just magnificent, and theres a perfect balance of gunfights, puzzle solving and exploring. Not to mention the visuals are stunning.
Twinsanity was an awesome one that wasn't made by Naughty Dog. It remained very true to the franchise, and Tag Team Racing was great and as I had it on both the PSP and PS2, I ported the console specific cars over and had the best fun playing splitscreen.
Beach Head. Vic 20 I think it was. Maybe, just maybe a Commodore 64. Played that for insane hours for a young guy.
Haha those were my first Tiger games, and remain my favourites. Sure, 14 has the Masters, but it lacks the fun the old ones have.
Oh my gawd.... Yes... back before I'd discovered Grand Theft Auto mind you. Anyone else used to do their own role-playing and drive legally?
Road rash 3d. Heaps of roads. Lots of highways too. Awesome fun on the speed limit on most powerful bike.
Road Rash 1 + 2 on the Mega Drive was the only way to go! Many hours put into that, saving up for better bikes ahhh the memories.
Road Rash 64 was pure bliss, and featured a pretty large world for the time. Nothing brings back memories like whacking the crap out of a cop at 160mph with nunchucks! Or crashing too many times and hearing that hilarious mechanic say "Dude you suck!" Probably the best game THQ made before they went bust.
For me, I'd say it's Ninja Gaiden on the original Xbox. I remember my brother bringing home some random discs (pirated games!) and saw him playing and thought it looked pretty crap. At the time I was playing Top Spin and my brother had stopped playing Ninja Gaiden because he said it was too hard. I wanted to take a break from Top Spin so decided to pop 'that ninja game' into the console...and maann, did I have misconceptions or what. I finished the whole game (normal difficulty) and then did it again on hard. I remember a few nights I'd sleep from 2am-8am and then game the whole day again. A close second would be Sega GT 2002 (again, for the Xbox). Did anyone else play Street Racer (either for the SNES or PS1)? Fun times with my brothers, that game. Another one that pops into my mind is the Lost Vikings series on the SNES.
Mine favourite was the last V8 supercar put out on the ps 2 wish they did another one for ps3 or 4 mark winterbottom has never one that many races since I started racing in his car lol .
Probably say Ratchet and Clank on PS2 - I can't say how many times I played that game all the way through
