Hmm, still haven't made up my mind. Did a few laps around Nurb F and wasn't feeling it for the Fezza, the Camaro was nice, but a bit slow. Took the 458 for a lap around the Nurb 24H track, what a blast, was nice to gain speed going up the big hill at the back of the circuit, even got into 7th...lol (running SS tyres with very fast wear is not advised, rears were down to 5 and need 60 litres for the 1 lap).
Go the Ferrari ! Go the Ferrari ! Go the Ferrari ! (subliminal message to all that haven't voted yet), it's faster and more forgiving for the older blokes!
My pick was the Camaro but the Ferrari was still fun to drive. I would still like to have my number #33 on this car this season
The numbers will remai the same mate, that is your ROOZ career number and follows you all the time you are here.
unless you swap with another driver, or another driver goes MIA. I am working on a possible secondary numbers list with Clevo so we will see..
States in the number thread: #1 is reserved for the reigning champions of the Sunday leagues, it is up to an individual if they wish to use it, and will not affect there other claimed number, as long as they are active and fulfilling above regs. #1 is also only to be used by the reigning champion at the event in question and is not carried over from different series' events.
I went with the camaro, but would be happy with either. I really like how the car drives with SM tyres, just that bit more oversteer on exit compared to SS makes it real nice.
After a few hours testing I think the Ferrari is definitly easier to drive on a clear track , but I feel with close racing there would be a ton of accidents car just slides so much and dosnt stop. Camaro is more difficult on tighter tracks with 1st 2nd gear corners real tail happy. A lot of self caused spins I would amagine. Camaro my pick I think..
The issue i found last night was with the sound glitch it was almost impossible to drive. Forget manual or auto, when you cant hear it rev up and start to brake traction it gets real ugly real quick......can only assume the 458 is the same.....
I still can't make up me mind. I like both. Have spent more time in the Camaro, but the 458 is still very nice. I'd be happy with either car though, not having the racing slicks makes you really think about braking points, corner speed and so forth.
looks like the Camaro has it in the bag. I cant see the mods not noticing me create another 17 accounts to skew the votes in the 458's favour . Everyone is entitled to their opinion so i'll happily accept the car choice but I have no idea what you guys see in that car as IMO that thing is awful. It doesn't turn, its not even fast in a straight line, its brakes are no better than the 458 when you take the speed at which your braking into consideration and it shreds tyres faster than they come out of the factory.
