I've been keen to hit up some karts recently. Haven't been since I was about 12 (only went a couple times) Any suggestions are welcome and anyone is welcome. If we can get numbers up maybe we can hire out a track to ourselves. Luddenham Raceway - http://luddenhamraceway.com Saturday - September?? Luddenham is brilliant IMO. The corners present a challenge and closely resemble some real life corners. Ultimate Karting at Narrellan is good too but I ain't a fan of indoor karting lol. Both work in unison with each other so you can expect similar services. We had a thing going for eastern creek but it fell though. @Mustafur has some fairly strong opinions on Eastern Creek as well haha.
Lol ... Ok so Eastern Creek is off the list. Yea I would prefer outdoor for sure. Thanks for the info. I will look into it more ...
Only 3 paces I can talk about here. UKS at Narrellan is fantastic but it really depends on if you like indoor karting or not. Simulators are fantastic aswell Kartatak at Villawood is pretty boring. Don't even bother. Eastern Creek has a good track but the karts aren't fantastic. If you prefer outdoor then i can really only suggest EC but do a bit of digging and you'll find a good one
Indy 800 at Wilberforce is also good, fantastic track but suffers the same problem as EC, the karts are in dire need of upgrading.
Indy 800 is good but karts are not equal enough to have a good race, the track is brilliant though. luddenham is probably the best because it's new so the equipment should be all good, haven't been there though. Eastern creeks 13hp karts are slower then indy 800s 9hp karts though lmao. I remember going in there in 2003 when i was 12 and they still have the exact karts as back then so it shows how old they are.
Not to mention you have to watch their 80s training video to drive and thats when you relise that's when they got the current Karts.
