Here's a tip. Make sure you set your FBB correctly! LOL Otherwise you're gonna have a couple of dead arms by the end of the race! @Ad2mny
That was incredible racing tonight. 159 laps of chaos and banter and 1 lap of pushing for the win, it makes for great racing. unfortunately, my strategy didn't quite work out tonight. i got taken out quite early in the race, and was never really able to recover from that, and it showed when i pitted on the wrong lap for my final stop and wasn't able to make up enough ground to catch the rest of the pack. congrats to fastboy, peach and viper for the podium spots. sadly, i think our room had heaps of issues with lag in our room, and it caused a few scary incidents, and a couple of dsc's. but still heaps of fun, thanks for the racing tonight guys
Cant believe I through the race away with 13 to go. Had myself an 18s lead and only needing a single stop to get to the end. Spun it then didn't enter pits at the right angle and it spat me out. If all had gone to plan I would have got 4 laps of boost stretching lead to 25+s and I would have been by myself and boost doesn't do a hell of a lot when there's only a single leader a significant margin ahead. Oh well I don't know how the rest of you were chewing through tyres so fast both hat and I did it in just 12 5 less than that of Beau who did 17.
What a great race! I certainly couldn't have won without the awesome work from my team mate @t_b_williams we worked together the whole race and despite the efforts of everyone else were rarely separated for more than a lap or 2. Well done @garyw61 for getting second, I was only watching my mirror trying to run you wide to the line, another 100m and you probably would of had me. Shake N Bake!
That was an anticlimax and a half... Not happy at all. Well done @SPL Racing, some excellent team work with @t_b_williams was indeed a boon.
right on teammate!!! lol Started out from rear of grid with @COME_AND_GET_ME7 and we worked our way cautiously through the pack. But these things never go to plan in the middle so I got spun sometimes or half lost it myself but kept on plugging away preserving tires quite nicely. At some point after being on the wrong end of a tap, my daughter woke up so I paused to put her back to sleep and came back to leave the pits 3 laps down but boost and tyre preservation proved key as I worked my way back up the field and was on the lead lap soon(maybe not so soon) after. Come close to the end and I pit with a good number of laps to go for the final stint and get into the lead pack. But my corner speed was just not quick enough to challenge for the win. Happy with 4th!
Yeah i had a crack at doing as many laps as you and i got down to 1's and eventually rotated the car, incredible work to keep the tyres fresh, both you and hat!
Was coming 7th final lap good 20 seconds from front pack and then all 5 spun out on the last corner and I Steven Bradbury it for a 2nd place. Well done podium
