@Clevohead Just did some laps at the current settings of racing soft and fast wear. Tyres are lasting 8-9 laps and fuel 17 laps. Could be up to 20 pit stops.
Points will be allocated as per the Turtle Beach 400. You will be allocated points as per the below chart on your finishing position in the race. Then you will get additional points based on your team's result, these points are shared between the two drivers. Team results are calculated by adding up of the time you finished the race behind the winner for example: Team X - Driver A 0.901 Driver B 9.763 (.901+9.763 =) 10.664 Team Y - Driver A 0.000 (won room) Driver B 10.742 (0.000+10.542 =) 10.742 So Team X had a better position than Team Y .200 of a second even though Driver A in Y won his room. This means Teams that both perform well will have better results, it just isn't about winning. 1st = 25 points 2nd = 18 points 3rd = 15 points 4th = 12 points 5th = 10 points 6th = 8 points 7th = 6 points 8th =4 points 9th = 2 points 10th = 1 point So Team Y from before, Driver A gets 25 points from winning his room and 18 points from his team finishing second over all, so he has a total of 43 points (tickets in the draw) Driver B has 10 points from finishing 5th, and 18 points from team in second so he has 28 points/tickets in total.
To help explain here is the link to the Turtle Beach results spreadsheet, and sheet two is the ticket number allocation: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1kG-zX8Twilcqbg3pGkeB9V5xOYYl0bLLHRLGwpLHaDk/pubhtml# Any questions???
@Clevohead I see I'm in room 3 but my Team mate @CAB77 is in room 1. So which room are we in? Also CAB, what car are we using?
The room allocations are more just a formality, on rooms of this size generally someone will have issues joining one and may have to join another, last year my team mate ran in a different room due to incompatibility issues with host. Basically we just get in whichever room we can and run the race. @pat65 @Beau_Albert @garyw61 still all good to host??? Any questions on room settings???
You won't need to reset track, I think all laps will will be within a second or two, the person who gets pole will have to have a pretty good draft run, and that only gets you an extra number
@Clevohead @Fastboysmith and I will be running in the 2011 # Best Buy Ford Fusion. Closest Colour i could find for Rexel Racing
OP updated, teams without names will have names made up for them for scoring purposes, so if you don't want some strange name, get them up tonight. Please check opening post and let me know if I fudged anyone's details.
@Clevohead Me and @Jim_aka_The_Man have got a car and name organised. We were wondering if we could take the Jimmie Johnson Lowes #48, and our team name will be Left Turn Squad.
