DIVISION 2 - OLD (Season 3)

It's on! Haven't had near as much time as I would have liked to get fully used to the physics of it, so probably should get on that so you dont completely demolish me

I have shift 2 but I hate the handling, I played for about 5-10 minutes and havent touched it since........Need to sell it.

I think the handling is why I havent played all that much, I really want to enjoy it, but i keep going back to GT

I agree about the handling, you just don't get the same feel of the cars as you do in gt5. eg, the only way you know your rear tyres aren't gripping is the sound of the tyres screeching, you hardly feel the back end step out.

I enjoy it in short bursts, the arcadey style is just a bit boring. The most fun is doing quick races on the F1 tracks.

Yea depending on how long it takes for the PSN to come back on here, I may not continue this season.

Well SHIFT 2 does take some getting used to after constantly playing GT5.
It's a good balance of arcade and sim. There a lot of small details that make give some real immersive, challenging and intense racing. The track list is great and I love the Legends Pack. The Ai is really good too.
It's more lively than GT5.. it's like a wife and a girlfriend..haha joking.

But ripping round Mt Panorama in a GT3 Cup Car at Dusk, no HUD and the sound pumping is truly awesome!
(can't believe I just defended SHIFT2 lol as I played a load of SHIFT1 and ended up flicking it off)
SHIFT2 much improved over the first.

Some update for GT5 is coming but is being held up by the PSN problem here in Japan.... looking forward to that!

i played shift 1 once it was really crap i thort. i called it "fork lift racing" cuz it felt like the cars turned with the rear wheels.scared me away from shift 2.

Yea Just read that it's going up in Japan tomorrow, before other asian countries.
We'll see anyway.. they say tomorrow, hope that means 12:01 tonight lol

Legends DLC for SHIFT2! straight away.

PSN Store still not up though Seido, so might have to wait for the legonds pack still.

aah that's right.. I was getting excited haha
well they say full restoration of PSN by the end of the month..
