Division 4 season 10

All over it mate.

Not my most favourite track in the world (in fact, besides the races you have to do in A-spec, I'v barely even used this track) but I'm getting some fairly consistent times now and the practice sessions in stucar17's lounge with raywat and emmo46 and greendog and some other guys from higher divisions has given me some hope that I'm putting in a fairly good pace.

Gonna go try not to kill myself today in the bush on my bike and I'll see all the div4 guys tonight!!

Guys, unfortunately KrasH has had to pull out of the league.

He doesnt have the time at the moment to commit to to season 10. Understandable, and i hope we see him back with more time in the future.

A straight swap it is with S_CLOSE i suppose. ( i have included him on the ladder and last week can be his drop round)

Make sure you all reset the PS3 tonight, clear your cache and power cycle the modem so we can have a lag free race !!

Bummer Dave. Is there anyone in div 4 with a super strong (stronger than clevos) connection that we can try?

Anything is worth a try, just means joining their room instead and Clevo can run it from there.

This is about as close as raywat3185, or anybody else got to emmo46

and this was the move that sealed raywat3185's 2nd place

Congratulations to emmo46, raywat3185 and qik666turbo. Well done everyone.

Was pretty excited about this race as I was one of the only 3 people into the 1.46's and thought I was in for a good chance.

Unfortunately I overestimated my ability and totally wasted my 3rd place qualifying by outbraking myself into the first corner. raywat3185 followed me onto the grass and as we rejoined I got a bit excited with the throttle, kicked the ass out and put myself back on the grass which gave me a cut-corner penalty. When I passed the first split I was already 20 seconds behind the leader and had the red mist fully down!!

I passed Colin_50 and Clevohead fairly quickly and started catching S_CLOSE on about the third lap, which was when I looked and saw I'd done a 1.45.7 and thought how the bloody hell did I do that!?!

I had about 3-4 laps of some pretty intense racing with S_CLOSE which was awesome fun (clean racer) but I could see the gap to the leaders growing and growing. I finally got enough gap onto the straight to keep S_CLOSE out my slipstream and set my sights on putting in good consistent laps. I was doing mostly low 1.47s and a few high 1.46's but with emmo46 on a no stopper and my choke at the start i only got to within 50 odd secs of emmo46 at the end

I did much better lap times than I expected considering I barely know the track but if you're not consistent from the start, amongst these racers, you got no hope!!

Me too, it adds a whole new dimension to the game
