Thanks to all for the organising and completeness of the league from End to end....Look forward to the next season... btw, if it isn't broken don't fix it Have a good festive season
Yep I couldn't drive fast consistently in this seasons car, not a fan of it at all, suspension to stiff for my liking. I got the win last night just off you and greasemonkeys mistakes, I didn't have the pace for a genuine win as shown by being a full second slower on my fastest lap compared to greasemonkey. Turn 8/9 seemed to bite a few, the rear was stupidly easy to lose in the braking section.
Same. 4th place for me was was only from benefitting from others mistakes, although this was one of the very few occasions I had consistency. My FL and quali times were way off most peoples. I didn't vote for this car but I didn't find it too bad to drive once you get used to it. I found it can be sticky at times and slippery at others. My opining for this seasons format... I liked the fact that rooms were fluid so that you could be racing against similar paced drivers, but I also hated the fact that rooms were fluid where you were in a lower or slower room because of a mistake or a bad track penalises you. Having said that those who are quick at all tracks and consistent, deservedly get more points.
Congratulations on the championship @Ian Cannan Well done on grabbing the podium spots @StuRichards @Bluemoon Season 13 comes to a close Thank you to everyone who helped out and/or participated in this season. It was a more difficult season with the new regs test, but I am thankful that we were able to do it even though the new regs won't continue next year, as we learnt a lot from it. Thank you to all the guys who put their hands up to help with room hosting/captaining. Thank you to @emmo46 , @Matthyus & @KoAStR for help with stewarding. Thank you to @Matthyus for all his work on the tables each week which was especially time consuming this season Season 14 will start sometime late Jan / early Feb next year but in the meantime we have the BJH ROC this sunday which will be livestreamed by Demo 1 Garage so I encourage all who aren't racing to watch and support the event. We also have the No Practice Series on the holiday Sundays to keep our skills sharp if anyone is interested: https://raceonoz.com/forums/index.php?threads/20-12-20-bjh-memorial-race-of-champions.4312/ https://raceonoz.com/forums/index.php?threads/no-practice-sundays.4311/ Prize draws are being organised out the back so expect to hear some news on these soon. Have a great holiday season, and see you on track!
Finished 2nd with 2 rounds missed, I will take that I guess. Probably could of won the championship if I hadnt missed spa and then disconnected for the 1st sprint race and not made the 2nd at all. Congrats to Ian for taking the win.
