Your not the only one lee I was loving the car at monza and Laguna, but motegi's making me hate it. It simply won't do what I want it to do....
Monza is by far the best circuit for this car, wet or dry. Motegi IMO is just a horrific track with nothing special about it. Don't know why, but I seem to have a grand hatred for all of the Japanese circuits (besides Tokyo). If PD brought back Special Stage Route 11, I would be a very, very happy man.
How come I think Motegi suits the car well? Motegi generally isn't very appealing I agree, but the McLaren really does bring out its best side. Anyway, tonight I practised for the first time this season (only got on for the Senna tribute) and I'm now expecting a brilliant result. #nopressure

If you keep the thing on the track and keep a fairly decent race pace, there's no reason why you couldn't get on the podium. This track is extremely easy to make mistakes on
+100 It's like a super-sized Winton, all hairpins & dead-stop right-angle corners, which unimaginative moron designed it?! In fact I'd happily subscribe to a project that deletes Motegi & replaces it with Phillip Island! Or Mugello, or Watkins Glen, or Willow Springs, Sebring, Imola, Osterreichring (old version), Sao Paulo (Brazil), Barbagello, Donnington, some Touge's, a proper Drag-Strip to keep chumps out of online rooms I'm in, the list goes on. //End rant.
