I'm pretty impressed with the 20 minutes or so I've had so far. The sheer amount of options is mind boggling, particularly with set up. I shall have a decent go tonight after work, but first impressions are good...except for that T300 wheel locking issue...hopefully the patch has fixed that. @S_CLOSE online is available straight away mate, no need to unlock anything

Dammit, rung my local JB to see if they have the limited edition version there. Nope. My JB online copy is on it's way...was hoping to pick a second copy up locally 'cause I can't wait and refund the online order when it arrives next week...but looks like I'm waiting it out now. Grrrr. I'm not even a day 1 kinda guy lol
I doubt it. But I'm sure both will co-exist. Particularly as pCARS offers wet weather and night racing. If I get it, it will be on PC as I don't have PS4 and my G25 won't work on there anyway. Waiting for someone to give me one of these spare codes that seem to be floating around!

woah lots of posts here. Wore my pCARS shirt and picked a PS4 version of the game - will check out the book, etc later. (Got some work to do first, funnily enough). A Yes I never lost access to it via Steam, just didn't really have the time to play. Probably won't be able to until Saturday if I'm honest. Keep in mind that you guys on PC do not have to turn all the graphics settings up to high/ultra. I know that's really hard to do, but you have to treat those settings as for either really crazy PCs today, or your next build in a few years time. I don't know for sure, but even on Medium the game might still look better than GT6 and Assetto Corsa (on an older DirectX 9 engine). You will driver faster and more consistent if your frame rate is up. Loads of AI in a thunderstorm is basically a stress test and will probably hurt FPS a little but there have been some big % gains in the last few months and that will probably continue. If there's anything else I can help with just give me a yell on here.
Spot on. It is hard to do! This is one attractive thing with console versions, they are optimised for a standard platform, plug it in, turn it on, it is what it is without feeling you've made compromises.
Yes, although based on the random preview videos I've watched so far, the game seems to do a good job at detecting your system and picking default video settings that do look good. If you want that console experience, just never ever go into the Video Options screen (at least until you've tried a few races).
i was just running pcars with 30 car grid ultra gfx on triple screen with a gtx980 and it seemed to be very playable but after an hour im now getting this error -_- reinstalling now
