I think it's best decision for me, if I'm not enjoying myself then it's not worth the stress so I'm staying out of Sunday league for awhile. Plus I have to put 100% into my speedway and I'm not gonna get anywhere sitting on my arse turning a steering wheel. But I'm still really keen for your ROOZ GTP team and I thoroughly enjoyed my first GTP race yesterday mornings

I also heard @MINT_GTR is close to getting one of those silly racing contracts with some large motor manufacturer in collaboration with a video game from Japan, how ridiculous! ;)

I believe I may have a room connectivity incompatability with Sickskillz, due to this not happening with Hat or Gary

Kids in bed early and had a room up nice and early too!
Room seemed to run fine. Had our outlap and timed lap qualifying...I unfortunately spun but it put me mid-pack.
First 2 corners I get by @B-Spec Bob and continue on where later, I see a smoking sparking @garyw61 come back onto the track from a spin...I couldn't avoid him but luckily avoided damage and a spin and then found a slowing (redressing) @Mario .
Lap 2 I have a spin myself and lose some positions but continue on.
Lap 3 I am telling myself not to repeat the exact same spin and @Ad2mny says in chat that the total lap number is wrong
...I spin in the exact same spot lol. (the lap number was fine)
A couple little slips but no major spins and I cross the line in 7th (pit lap 4)
A good result for a track I do not enjoy.

Would just like to formally apologise for distracting everyone with my mid race post. I could have swore it was meant to be 7 laps. Unfortunately I can't give back the 10+ seconds I took from drivers distracted enough to spin, and if any disciplinary action is required then I'll cop that.

What a shocker of a race. Could not find any rhythm till the final lap, but still only managed a 7:12. Lap 1 dropped to last at the start of the first long straightish section, but regained some places from driver errors. Lap 2 with pinoy on my bumper came across l33 rejoining into the middle of the circuit and with nowhere to go tapped his rear quarter and spun him out. Pinoy I think also got caught up in it but got through. Back to the rear of the field. Lap 3 started closing on people again but was distracted trying to work out why there was only 6 laps. A severe error in judgement announcing my stupidity and a quick glance at the forum put me last by a long way but confirmed the correctness of the lobby :/. Considered once again parking up but stuck it out to the end to record another miserable result, barely finishing as the counter ticked down to zero.

The racing Gods came to my G27 tonight and guided me threw what is undoubtedly the toughest track let alone 8 laps (inc out lap and Qually). I was shocked when after all 13 had passed the finish line in Qually to be in P1 this was my first ever Rooz P1.
Race start I got away well and tried hard to not look in the mirror but the orange car of Adro was seriously causing concertration issues and that finally showed as I overshot the fast section and ended up requiring the sand wedge to rejoin back and now 4th place.
I regained my S..t and made it past stiff who let me threw (thanks teammate) and set of after Sikskillz were I was able to get past as he overshot the carousel wow all this and we had only made it halfway threw the first lap.
My attention now settled I was just happy to try keep 2nd behind the Nordschliffe specialist @Adronaught who had started extending his leed out by 4 seconds.
Lap 2 was clean by us both.
Lap 3 I thought ill copy @Adronaught with his stratergy untill ive come round the turn to see smoke and a big spin I couldnt believe it. To regain 1st place was great but now what to do regarding to pit or not to pit...
I chose to take a punt (and no not race 3 at Flemington) I then saw Adro pit this was my chance drive smooth and straight and hope he has a tough time amoungst traffic or cold tyres.
Come lap 6 I was pinching myself at still being in P1 and lost concertration aswell grip as the rear tyres on 5 were starting to cause a few moments by halfway threw the lap Adro had reduced the deficit to 6 seconds I was in panic mode and decided to not push the limits this paid of and I may have been fist pumping the air across the line.
1st at the Nurb you bloody beauty.
Wd to Adro and bad luck mate on your mistakes
Wd to to @Stiffsht Team BHR great points

I had a dead set shocker tonight and it's s race I'll be quite happy to forget. Spinning 3 times on my quali lap set the tone for my night and had me starting at the rear of the pack. I snuck past a few that already ran off track then I came around the corner in fifth gear to find cars parked all over the road, I slammed into Gaz hard then into the fence, I had a full house of red damage lights flashing and also copped a collision penalty, the damage took until the carousel to clear off. Xr8 nearly had the same problem but I ghosted and he went straight through me. But this was a minor hiccup compared to the time I lost from my own silly mistakes. I ran in 11th for a while swapping positions with Gaz who seemed to be having as much fun as I was. I kept going and managed to catch up to stumbles who spun 2 corners before the final straight gifting me 9th place. I know I caused a few people to spin out avoiding my terrible driving so for that I apologize. But seeing 2 of my boys on the podium at the end certainly helped ease the pain.

"Now everybody's heard, about the Norde"...lol! I love this track! Had great practice races this week hovering around 7:02's with a couple of 6:59's thrown in so I wasn't too phased about the the race proper...I just had to stay on for quali. Also bought a new LFA because old faithful wasn't bouncing back after chassis refreshes like she used to, so, in theory, I was feeling fast!
Quali was weird as I just couldn't relax. Shoulders too stiff, sawing at the wheel kind of :):):):)...car was weird, I thought I'd grabbed the spare with oversized wheels (which I didn't like). In the end I opted for a conservative approach rather than throw it into the armco. Came in 2nd. Well done @Tanktex for claiming pole.
Got out of the blocks ok, had half a crack at Tank at the narrow bridge before the rise to Flugplatz, and then he ran deep and caught the sand at Aremberg...I couldn't believe my eyes. Time to make hay. Ran my first fastest lap on Lap 2 (7:03.464) eventhough I still didnt feel comfortable in the car...but I managed the gap to Tank at around 3.5-4.5 secs for the next 2 laps till I took off and spun at Fuchsrohre. Completely backwards against the armco on the left, I waved to him through the windscreen as he drove past. "Ok, now I've made things difficult for myself", I says...head down...
Pitted at the end of Lap 3, as planned, 3.938 secs in arrears of Tank as he drove on by the pit entrance...at least I knew his strategy now. @GT_BANDIT_666 also drove by while I urged (swore at) my cartoon pit crew to pull their fingers out! I emerged from the pits in 3rd place, the best part of 27 secs in the red. With fresh rubber on it was time to turn up the wick!
Finishing Lap 4 I was gaining, ever so slowly on Tank's split tiime and I could now see BANDIT down the road, so I was starting to smell a kill. New fastest lap (7:02.689). I latched onto BANDIT at Spiegelkurve and followed him until I had a chance to pass on the uphill section between Ex-Mule and Lauda-Linksknick (thank you for leaving me half of the track to do that BANDIT...most courteous of you). Now it was just a case of making Tank reconsider his pit strategy...whilst going fast and staying on the bloody track!
At the split time at Kesselchen I was 18.012 secs adrift with a lap and a half to go. The car was still 'pushing' occasionally, but I had gotten better used to it's 'different' feel. Time to eat time...Tank's time! Kept things 'steady easy' and was really starting to whittle away at the lead, all the while wondering how long could Tank hold on with shredded tyres. The split times kept tumbling so I stayed head down. Passing under the bridge at the end of the main straight I was now only 10.7 secs behind....and then disaster struck! I foolishly outbraked myself into Schikane, touched the grass and spun a neat backwards 360 popping back out onto the bitumen pointing the right way (and gave thanks for small mercies...lol!), but this blew my chase back out to 15.360 secs at the start/finish line so I had do it all again...and then some.
Last lap: In my frustration I still had time to admire Tank for having the balls to try a no stopper...but it was time to throw caution to the wind and peg him back as quick as I could. The splits read like this: +13.227, +12.480, +11.217, +9.503, +8.294, +7.993, +6.537, +5.700, +4.527, +3.447, +3.291, and finally +2.394. Close, but no cigar...lol! Posted fastest lap of the race trying to catch him, 7.00.580, which was nice but bloody missed him by that much (holding up thumb and forefinger a-la Maxwell Smart).
So, congrats are in order for Tank for a solid drive under pressure, and taking some very handy points with the win and pole...to myself (lol!) for placing 2nd with fastest lap, and BANDIT for a no stopper 3rd...also an impresive drive. I honestly didn't think 'no stoppers' would make the podium, but I'm pleased to be shown otherwise. This was a bloody hard race!
Later on at Laguna I realised that I'd neglected to turn off my TRS (brand new car - doh!) when I was denied entry to the track, which may have accounted for my unease in the car, but this should in no way detract from Tank's win...balls out, no stop, and tough as old boots under pressure. You deserved this one mate! Well done!

Thanks go to @Hatfield for hosting, and @Stumbles for posting results. Very much appreciated fellas. Oh, and Stumbles, I did remember to save the replay this time. Thanks bud.
