i reckon you'll be able to overlay your gps on google earth, then screen shot it, then copy over it in the track editor. don't have it yet just putting the pieces together from other posts

my garmin etrex 30 works with google earth

Have had a play with the iPad app and I think I am gonna leave it to you clever kiddies to make all the tracks. This stuff is just all too hard for my old brain!
