    Not looking good for me unfortunately. Had a line fault at home, no dial tone, since Saturday. Todays log update with the ISP estimates fault will be resolved between today and CoB friday.... sigh.

    i just did a race with max grid offline. Im not sure if AI brain power hogs the frames a bit? I hope so.

    use CTRL + V so AI takes control of your car and you can focus on your frames and temps :coffee:

    Try turn down the reflection quality and frequency,mirror quality, turn off post processing, reduce the replay file size and you should gain lots of frames without too much of a difference in quality.

    This works if it's gpu bound at 100% and still room for cpu eg 40% but if it's the cpu making the bottle neck at 95-100% lowering graphics doesn't actually do anything and unfortunately AC doesn't play well with overclocking and can cause those micro stutters.so in my case my cpu is 97% with full AI grid but my gpu is only 75-80% so cpu is holding my gpu back :oops:

    maybe try running it without any skins loaded? would that be cpu? i know the apps can add alot of cpu use even when not switced on but selected in the ac menu. might be something else to try.

    thanks mate, improved from 38 to 45ish and then 60 for at least 3/4 of the track. Damn triple monitors hogging all the juice!

    Yeah I am going to attempt turning all my apps off will save up cpu and run fanaleds to get my fuel usage and gear and crewcheif for tyres and when to pit.letting windows run those services should be less of an impact then in game AC apps

    My ISP is Westnet (owned ny iinet). But yea fault has been assigned to Telstra now. It's their infrastructure. Probably that 100mm of rain we got a few days ago!

    I'm calling it. Still not on and I'm not hopeful no point heading home might as well be at the gym instead!

    Hope it goes well fingers crossed for next week.
