Ok guys As always we will vote on whether we want a "race car" or "road car" for season 6.... Please understand that not everyone will be happy with the choice, with so many drivers we cant please everyone..... That said, we have had a race car for the last few seasons so bear that in mind when making your initial selection.....I will keep this poll open for a week before narrowing down the community selection a few road or race cars......Whatever the selection i think given the issues we have had with the tire change we will be looking for a 1 tire series with the wear rate used to bring the strategy into play
I'd like to have a car with lots of downforce which you can use to your benefit, rather than rely on mechanical grip and risk shredding the tyres. Definitely a car within the Super GT mold would be my #1 pick.
I would love to see a track car for season 6. Preferably the KTM X-Bow or the Subaru Impreza Nurb Edition. The KTM has truck loads of downforce no understeer and is very easy to drive unless you go throwing her around. It would also be the first open wheeler that has been used for a season car to my knowledge and its manouverability will allow for some of the more technical tracks to be used. Not to mention the suspension is fun to watch. Why I suggest the Impreza? Well you haven't done a Imprezza or Evo season before and the Nurb Edition has a brilliant stock suspension setup and the 4WD provides plenty of grip.
Hasnt always been the case ...... Have had some cracker seasons in road cars with sports tires......at the end of the day though.....majority rules......
some of the best races i've had have been in road cars. Toyota GT86, McLaren MP4-12c, Honda NSX etc etc
