get those car suggestions flowing!!
I was thinking a group 4 car maybe the Mclaren
Fittipaldi EF1 @emmo46
Like to go road car of some discription. There os only one vision im a fan of as a season car. The mini. Rather fond of the gr4 audi tt too
Mustang Gr.4? Got some good races from mine, quite grippy
@JonoStan96 are you A N G E R Y at the gr.4 suggestions yet?
No, I like the Gr.4 cars, the Viper and NSX in particular is awesome to drive. Also give the 86 a go in cockpit view, wowee!
But yeah, if I’ve said it once I’ll say it a thousand times, the Bugatti Gr.1 just can’t be beat.
Interesting thought - would it be an idea to wait on the Bugatti for more circuits and or bug fixes so that you actually get to enjoy it for the season? Assuming you are not to the point where "at least the car is good" would be the only way to save the season for you after how much frustration this one has brought you.
Ah this season’s fine, I just can’t tune to save my life and any tunes I do borrow just make the car worse to drive. I find it hard to adapt to the stupid throttle application which is magnified by the low grip tyres. The last corner
of tomorrow’s track is thus miles harder than it needs to be.
I wouldn’t mind waiting on the Bugatti but a Gr.1 needs to be in consideration, it is by a long way the most neglected race class in the game yet features the most white knuckle cars.
Fittipaldi VGT is definitely a good car. I hope in future seasons VGT’s aren’t immediately dismissed like they were on GT6.
VGT's are more of a possibility now more than ever, especially considering more and more have interiors now as well.
I'd like to see a theme with multiple models available under BOP restrictions. Something like an all-Italian field of Gr.3's? I know the BOP isn't perfect. But a variety of circuit types will help even out the results.
Even though I agree it would be good to see a field of everyone using a variety of cars but Sunday night series has been always one make to make it completely even, yes you could even it out by having a variety of tracks and suit certain cars at different ones but it wouln't be fair knowing title rival x is driving car x at track x where he will get an advantage over your car
this is a definite possibility for a community event
Stay tuned for that one
An unpopular opinion, but the Honda Sports VGT is an absolute wildcard in terms of driving. Would really encourage people to either learn to tame its insane oversteer or tune the sh!t out of the thing!
Tune what exactly? It only allows ride height adjustment IIRC.
I will have a look through the list to see which one, but I would love to have a season of group 1 racing.
After doing so many practise laps of Dragons Trail, I had a go at the Sport mode Group 4 mode this week when it was there. Ended up going from DR D to DR C with 3/4 filled bar in two races. Great feeling, but the racing just wasn't the same being that bit slower, racing should be fast!!
However, having said that, there are some great production cars. The Cobra is soo much fun to drive, not sure how a season of racing in it would go through!
Although I'm new to tuning (and league racing for that matter), I would love to see that aspect remain, and even have tyre choice added to introduce some more pre race strategy to the game.
Tuning has to remain until PD implement a way to restrict it
