RACEONOZ F1 2016 British Grand Prix


Silverstone, a circuit rich in Grand Prix history, hosted the first ever World Championship event in 1950, dominated by Giuseppe Farina in his Alfa Romeo 158. In the 66 year history of Formula One, Silverstone has gone through countless alterations, with the most recent major change taking place in 2010. ​

The home of British Motorsport, Silverstone has been kind to its home drivers, with Collins, Clark, Stewart, Hunt, Watson, Mansell, Hill, Herbert, Coulthard and Hamilton all taking Grand Prix victories at Silverstone. One of the jewel rounds of the calendar, now you have the chance to join the elite winners list of the British Grand Prix.​

Im unfortunately going to miss out on the British GP

Silverstone is one of the races i've looked forward to all season as it's one of my favourite and best tracks, but I have to travel for work on Thursday (damn clients! )

I will still get a lap guide and setup video up tomorrow night though.

How are you feeling @Motorsports560? Do you think you'll be on the grid this week?

so got into the 30.8 region last night, and cant seem to find much more in it. dunno how the top people on the leaderboards are in the 29s. bloody aliens!

Alright cool, but unfortunately you can't choose a number that's taken by an F1 driver.

He can do #60 if he wants

British Grand Prix Classic Footage 1/2

May we hear the V10 beasts roar again. Enjoy 2 epic laps from 2005's main contenders and two very special cars.

Here's a 30.1 lap with time left at Brooklands and Becketts - there's easy 29s in it, I just havent been able to string a valid 29 together in short time for the vid.

Since im not running this week I havent tested it as a race setup for tyre deg, but I dont think it'll be much worse than others. The setup feels pretty good overall but run some nominal pressures like 23.0 F and 21.1 R (or 1-2 clicks higher than that) and not the maxed out pressures from the video.

Only ran a handful of TT laps so far but surely Silverstone could throw up some change in weather.
