    I'm easy either way.
    TL : DR
    I prefer an earlier start for purely selfish reasons of spending time with the family.

    1 of the reasons I posted what I did in the Div4 forum, was that we have a very wide spread of timezones ranging from WA to NZ. I'm just trying to cater to all to make it a little easier.
    Personally, if all goes well on a regular race night, I finish the race with the family coming into the gaming room to watch some TV. I've missed dinner with the family due to the time that we race.
    Once DST goes away, I'll be starting racing at 620 pm, instead of 520 pm, which will at least allow me to have dinner beforehand if we are organised, otherwise it's gonna to be a late one :)

    Looking at the first race and using the 'avg' lap time of 1m 40s Dragon Trail (from last season using the Porsche) will take ~2.5hrs. Starting at 830pm means an 11pm finish.
    As it is only 1 race per Season and done every 3 months in this format, I'll just work around / deal with it on a personal level.

    The earliest a race can start for me is 7pm qld time. That way it doesn't matter if I'm rostered on to work or not. Maybe if we're splitting the rooms we can have some start at different times or days etc. It's hard to get a time that will suit everyone that's for sure.

    As there is no divisions between rooms we can try to sort rooms by timezone preference. This would allow us to adjust the race start times to suit all members. There is no requirement for the series to even be run on a consistent night if a group of drivers would prefer an optional slot. All I ask is that either a room captain be present, or the nominated host for the evening follow all standard room captain procedures.

    Being a longer race distance than most here would be used to I'm more than happy to accommodate race days and start times to suit and give everyone the opportunity to participate.
