So how are we all going with setup ?. I'm looking at having a practice session to test everyones connectivity on Saturday the 9th. Be sure to add the raceonoz club, because it would be a club event. I would also like to have a rolling start, but the problem is the lap is too long. So we have a few options: 1. Do the whole lap 2. Start the race when you turn left from the gp circuit onto the nordschliefe 3. Turn around and go back to about halfway up the back straight 4. A normal grid start with false start check.
I tend to think option 3 as you want majority of cars on a straight for a rolling start... Or maybe back straight on gp circuit?
I would vote 3 aswell. That could be a possibility, but the fast right kink may be an issue. That's fine as there will probably be another one mid-week and I'll be on most of the night anyway
I think option 3 would work, if we have formation on the back straight and into the final complex the leader controls the field onto the main straight. We could have an AZ (acceleration zone like in the v8's) between pit entry and start line and the leader can choose when he wants to go anywhere in this area.
I have been running low 8:40's in testing but yet to put a full lap together that I'm happy with. Just trying to find a comfortable pace where I'm not pushing too hard that I risk running off track.
@warrior2167 there is no way I can get to mints place the weekend of the 3 hour extremely disappointed, just put me in reserve mate.
