I am investigating the possibility of driving up from Melbourne. However, you guys need to convince me it will be worth the effort. A single day of karting is not going to cut it, I'm afraid. And the earlier the date, the easier it is for me to find a place to stay.
LOL, the location of the circuit is exactly where I stay when I go to Sydney for training! Thanks for the tip, I'll consider it, even though I'm not really a big fan of Supercars or VASC or whatever it's called nowadays. How incredibly generous of you, Hat! But I wonder if our ROOZ relationship will suffer if we know each other too well...as they say, familiarity breeds contempt. Also, I apologize for sounding like a prick in my earlier post. I just find it impossible to justify driving for 16 hours total to spend an hour or two karting, no matter how good the company.
Fair enough man, A casual 1000k or so trip isn't something you just casually do for a day out karting!
You sure know how to pile on the perks haha. Though I'd rather drive. I'm really starting to hate Virgin...I've yet to come home on time from Sydney.
Just had an idea...is it feasible to do day trips to Bathurst from Sydney? Also, I was wondering if anyone from Melbourne would consider joining me on the trek up there. Having some company along the way would make the trip much more enjoyable and worthwhile.
Dunno, will probably do a few laps and visit the museum. Not sure if anything's on at that time of year.
Never been to UKS, my availability all depends on work, sport and family. Hopefully I can work around it, definitely interested though
