Welcome to the Cross Platform RaceOnOZ Dirt Rally 2.0 Club.
The original RaceOnOZ club has been migrated across to DR2 which allows us to open it up to cross-platform users!

    NEW MEMBERS
    Submit join request here: https://dirtrally2.dirtgame.com/clubs/club/17368
AND Post in this thread with any other alias' you use for your preferred platform

Use this thread, event notifications, settings, format ideas, and general ROOZ club discussion
    :)
Casual short term (e.g. 1 week) events will be posted here.
Separate threads will be set-up with details for each new Championship Events (e.g. 7 weeks).

To see what's been going on at a glance:

    Moderation and Join Request Approval
As before the league is moderated by @Pete aka Haagen888 and a couple of other guys (me, @TheStig13, @Hatfield ) so one of us will have to accept your request to join and will be setting up events. Or add me as a friend on steam and I'll send you a club invite.

Click on the image or links below for more reading on how the clubs work.
    The basic run down is:
Take care there's no restarts in club events!
To join a club go to one of the links in the OP and apply, or accept an invite if one has been sent.

In-game you go to Freeplay > Clubs. From there you can see and join events/championships from your club memberships. Then it's just like regular rally. You have a window (say 1 week or something) to complete a set of event stages at your leisure and see how your time stacks up against other club members. Then if it's a championship it will move onto the next location for another set of event stages, with finishers automatically accumulating championship points based on each event standing.

I ave about 30 minutes in DR2.0 and zero idea how a league would work - but yeah I'll take an excuse to get into it!

All signed up super keen on either the up to 2000cc or NR4 classes
I did some of the longer stages last night and it's so much fun but I think keep it a bit easier to start

Group A is also good and New Zealand is my favourite location and probably one of the easier locations to get used to, there's 12 stage in total could just do that to start things off and start with the shorter stages and do the longer ones last, well that's my 2 cents I can't wait to see how this all works fingers crossed no issues

Thanks for the interest and input so far.

So format for Championship 1 I am thinking 2x 6stage events at NZ with a car change in between. Will see of we can do one in Group A and the other in 2000cc 4wd class or perhaps even a nice soft start off in the H1 FWD class. Mini's at NZ now there's a classic and fitting combo. Happy to help others with tunes.

Let's get in at the shallow end by keeping it to dailylight hours and mostly clear weather starting on shorter stages with regular service intervals. Then maybe graduate to a longer stages towards the end.

Probably won't run any restrictions on assists or force cockpit view. But thinking of hardcore damage (it's not that hardcore) and no stage restarts.

    How does that sound?

    Sounds awesome mate.

Spent the morning getting to grips with DR2 a bit.

    FUN!

There are dead sheep all over NZ now.

My main learning - always fix headlights!

I was thinking the 2x 6 stages would be exactly that. Thinking of grander things once it's proven. Like a 6-12 stage event per week for say a 7 week championship like the other league seasons.

Sorry I am a bit on the ropes this week. Will get something going over the weekend at the latest.

Also wanting to give the eSports World Championship qualifiers starting in DirtRally 2 this week a crack.
