Here are the regulations: http://www.formula1.com/inside_f1/rules_and_regulations/sporting_regulations/8683/fia.html "20.2 Drivers must use the track at all times. For the avoidance of doubt the white lines defining the track edges are considered to be part of the track but the kerbs are not. A driver will be judged to have left the track if no part of the car remains in contact with the track. Should a car leave the track the driver may rejoin, however, this may only be done when it is safe to do so and without gaining any advantage. A driver may not deliberately leave the track without justifiable reason."
yeah in India allowed an apex cut on one of the corners(this was from Vettels Pole lap): http://i44.tinypic.com/2j3r1qu.jpg
Bloody hell, my PS3 has decided to screw me over AGAIN!! I'm sorry Stu, looks like either yourself, or someone else will have to do the report. Like at Rome, I tried desperately to fix and join so I could get the replay, but by the race start my consile refused to connect at all, and then froze for about 20 mins once I did connect. -.-
Another alien performance from Warrior. WD to Musta and Cyber, plus great result for Joe - confidence booster no doubt. Again, sorry Corzza, had a shocker. Gave myself a drive-thru, but ruined it for both of us.
1:30.6?? How the actual??? Any chance of someone uploading the replay? Would love to see how it's done!!
Well it was a matter of avoiding the chaos! and the penalities..and holding on to a 630hp rocketship with marshmellows for tyres! Spent quite a while stuck in 'no mans land' with no one in front or behind and that can play with your mind.. Got really confused after Anon & Corzza came together and i lost sight of them on the leader board only to find Anon in front of me after my pitstop?! Warrior needs to hand in a DNA sample to verify that he is actually human i feel!

Top effort by Cyber and especially Joe with their best drives this season to date, well done fellas. Battle for pole position was really close as Mustafur later revealed he only missed it by less than 2 hundredths with the 15 thousandths improvement on my second timed lap getting me the spot 1:30.988. Everyone should be congratulated for getting through the 1st corner super cleanly, professional driving guys. Fuji requires you to be super smooth and to hit a late apex to get the best possible exit out of the 5 slowest corners, which is what I tried to concentrate on most. In the 3rd picture there was an incident where Zampli was making an overtake on Anon and then merged back onto the racing line right in front of him just before the braking zone where credit to Anon with quick reflexes was able to avoid spearing in to the back of Zamps. I just think you could have left a lane open on the outside where he could brake safely. I've also uploaded the replay flle of last nights race for those that want to study/compare my driving technique. When you dowload you have to unzip the folder and put all the files in another folder named BCES00569-RPL011 > SAVEDATA > PS3. http://speedy.sh/udMTp/REPLAY.zip
i have updated the overall ladders guys, will tidy up the class ladders tonight. In the ladders thread http://raceonoz.com/threads/season-13-ladders-old-format.759/
Thanks for the upload Warrior, definitely want to see your skills. That is some epic pace to be sub 1:31, hats off to you mate.
I had a great time racing last night..... Started about 6th i think.......was bumped back to 8th, and had a great scrap with Joe for about 6 or 7 laps till we came across Anon and Corzza in the final sector. We were up to 5th and 6th respectively then i had my only penalty of the night when i ran wide at the final corner. Joe got the gap he was looking for, so it was all uphill from there. In the second stint, i had another battle with Corzza for a few laps.......is all a bit of a blur to be honest, but we went at it for about 5 lapstill he copped a penalty somewhere and i managed to get away. With 6 to go i was catching Joe at about 1.5 secs per lap, and with 4 to go was only a few secs behind.......looking good, but had half a lose coming out of the second hairpin, into the uphill and it cost me about 6 or 7 secs......Grrrrrr !! Got back on it, and by the last lap had managed to make the ground up again, but fell about 2 secs behind him in 6th.... Good clean racing Joe and Corzza, is always enjoyable when you can race clean and not one touch. Vendal had a rough night, copped a few penalties, and is leading the award for biggest crash of the season, with his off at the end of the main straight on about lap 25......1 wheel in the grass saw it all go pear shaped in the braking zone. Well done to Warrior, Musta and Cyber for the podium. Warrior, im buggered if i know how you do it......well done. Onto the enduro.......1.5 hrs, 93 laps, should be a cracker !
Thanks warrior it was good to see the podium again after a few average seasons I really should practice lol but lack of time hasn't helped Fuji always produces great racing with its wide technical layout and this round wasn't any different and hopefully GVE produces some great racing as it has in the past.
Yeah your right Mustafur, I've fixed my previous post. Thanks leeboy, let me know if you have any trouble importing the replay into GT5.
I do have a question Warrior...i watched the replay of the race last night and spent some time watching how you do what you do! What interested me was your brake application - where i would be at 75-85% your brake bar was barely registering? Coming into T1 was the same but every other corner was way less than what i would apply - and yes that makes sense to why you are so much faster!
Would it be possible to get a report for the news from somebody in this division? Jono has no replay to work from due to technical issues. Anything will be great. If you don't mind I will pinch your photos again Warrior.
Joe, Maybe the replay didn't pick up my braking to well, that's why I uploaded my replay so your able to see my car clearly with no shaking. If you brake down the track into 7 braking zones, the first 4 I do brake up to 100%, but in zones 2&3 its only the immediate application of 100% and quickly down to about 30%. And in the last 3 I would use maximum of about 30% pressure. Also I was using a Brake Balance of 5 - 4 compared to yourself of 7 - 5. Mustafur's BB was 3 - 6 and I think that's what contributed to his higher tyre wear.
