Division 4 season 6

Op updated with laps and wet regs

The Formal Guy has been promoted up to Div 4. Disturboed has moved up to Div 3, Pykey moves up from 3 to 2 and TB moves up from 2 to 1.

v8power has moved to Div 4 and CAB is back in Div 5

This is going to be a hard season for me I think already if I go by pace at brands hatch as Cab was also quicker than me. Here's hoping I can pick up the pace before sunday

Yeah Div 4 is going to be a tough place, I think you will give them a run for their money though.

I was contemplating asking to be dropped, but I should really try to push myself to improve instead I think...plus if I did drop, HTO wouldn't have a driver in div 4 lol

I think probably half the drivers want to be dropped a Div, very rarely get asked to promote them. The closeness of the divisions makes balancing very difficult, the only Div where it seems a big jump is getting dragged from Div 2 to Div 1 to face the aliens. Most other promotions seem to cope.
I can only go on last seasons championship positions and lap times (which are a bit wobbly because of last seasons tyre regs)
In the end there can only be one champion per division and being in a div where you can at least run with the pack has got to be a bonus, although most guys want to be the big fish in the little pond.

I had a thought (forget when) of a system where we run a qualifying night where each driver gets 5 laps to set their fastest time. Then the divisions for that sundays race are set based on these lap times.
The kicker is, that the higher you are placed for that Sunday, the more points you score, and so you are actually competing against all the divisions drivers. (so last place in a higher division is worth more than first place in a lower division)

I think the key to this car is the braking. Whether it be brake bias or just how you manage your braking, that will be how you get your times. This car is brilliant out of the turns, very neutral. Really looking forward to the season in this little rocket, whining and screeching its at around the tracks.

I agree it does feel good (I just need to find how to brake properly) but I just don't have the pace I want yet

Last change, @CAB77 and @jasondull1986 to Div 4, @v8power383 and @TheFormalGuy have been placed in Div 5 from the original div 6, This means the top five from 5 have gone to 4 and top 5 from 6 to 5, that is the only way I can do the shuffle up caused by the Div 3 exodus without moving people unfairly two divs at a time
