It is always wise to do a quick numbers check at the start of quali to make sure everyone sees everyone.
At least in GT5 it was obvious if you couldn't see anyone as they had the loading bar under their name in the lobby. Now, it's 50/50 whether there is a bar or not and even if there isn't there is a possibility you can't see them on track. I've even had times were cars show up on track and in the position list, but look like they're just parked somewhere when in fact they are driving around.
we did and most of us could see 10 on that's all i could see as host but i knew there was 13 in the looby the three who got stuck in pits ( @TheFormalGuy ) we need lap times from you guys as you guys could see everyone if any of them stayed in the lobby Cheers
Can I just put it out there... If you happen to glitch out or DSC or whatever where you can't continue the race. As pissed off as you may be, please do not use the chat box or mic excessively.
Thankyou for pointing this out, although I see they wished to voice their annoyance, it was very off putting for me and i'm sure for many others
You're right rano all 13 seemed to be loaded prior to the q session. but when the race commenced i only had 11 on track
you mad 1 more then me lol and i was the host... Next week guys please do an oil change BEFORE you join my lobby using your mic/chat box during qually/race is a BIG NO... NO please read if you haven't already http://www.raceonoz.com/forums/index.php?threads/important-mic-ettequite-please-read.432/#post-78832
Yeah, the mic etiquette IS important even though it seems trivial and an easy way to get some frustration out during the race. The bottom line is we have had issues in the past of abuse and inappropriate language where families can hear what's being said. We also have sponsors who are expecting us to represent them in a good light. In our div 2 room we use them up until qual, (good help in sorting the inevitable room issues) but we the switch them off till EVERYONE crosses the line. Even then, any race issues go through the room captains and mods. It just stops any blow ups and people saying things in the heat of the moment the they quite often regret. Stu
FYI event this Sunday if you are interested http://raceonoz.com/forums/index.php?threads/current-event-7-6-rooz-street-soaking-wet.1701/
Could you see me footling, or was I racing someone who couldn't see me lol. Not being a smart A, am actually wondering. By the way, I did clear cache before entering, and have never had a glich problem myself before.
So, i've done 6 laps of practice for this round... Oh my this race will be horrid... wet weather in this car is tough
Bring on the HTO series I say... If it wasn't for the teams side of things I would be giving it a big side step... I hope the 34 of you that voted for this bucket of are enjoying .... cause I AINT!!
Don't forget Peach, the next round at Apricot Hill isn't until June 14th, not this weekend due to the long weekend.
