PCARS Expression of Interest - PCARS Touring Car Championships (Group A - Sierra, Mercedes, BMW) - PS4

Howdy all,

Just interested in seeing if anyone would be interested in competing in a touring car championship. I would like to keep the tracks British in an attempt to make it like a mini BTCC. Any input or thoughts would be great.

What nights would you all like too do this?

you should put that information in the OP mate, not sure if the missus will let met race 2 nights a week.

First time having a crack at this mate. Any input most welcome. If you play your cards right you get what you want mate.

haha, cater to the masses not to the few mate, just try to keep the OP as up to date as possible, cars, circuits etc,

I know that the Ford Sierra has a boost adjustment in the tuning options for the car, gives an approximate 150bhp more, not sure if it uses more fuel though,

I could be in, I've wanted to use the Benz for years in gt5/6 but it never got a look in.

If this is potentially a version of the BTCC will we be looking at doing a 3 Sprint races in a night Or even a sprint/race

Yea I would be keen depending on the night.

I think a sprint/race would be the best bet. It might be a bit much having 3 races. If anyone could instruct me on setting a poll up for which night to race would be great

Okay sounds sweet my only concern is that unlike GT6 once one races is over the next race starting order cannot go off previous results which means there will have to be two qualifying sessions
perhaps a 15min one and a 5min one would have to be in order to make the grid work and in the second qualifier drivers will leave pitlane in the order they came in race 1
I'm sure we can work out a way to do a reverse order as well if you're interested in that
And when it comes to cars I think we should limit the amount of the vehicles so we don't see 9 ford 4 Mercedes 3 BMW on the starting grid otherwise we might as well make it a one make race
And I think we shouldn't just leave the tracks to British tracks only we should open it up to European tracks as well expressly considering we have a DTM car to choose from

Pending the amount of people who join up for example say we had 16 commit. Then I would be happy to limit it to 4 in each make in group a. Having driven all I think they each have their own strengths. The BMW maybe lacking a little but if driven clean it can do some damage on the Sierra. By DTM do mean the merc DTM that came with pre order?

And I'm open to the idea of the German tracks with maybe a nordschlieffe extravaganza to test everyone metal
