Was just going to do a ladder of all our times, post it here and I'll sort it out. Currently 8th in world (1st in region), I know its only just come out but still happy lol, waiting to tumble down haha. 2:20.422 is my current fastest time, reckon I could knock around half a second of it if I could get all of the sectors right.
2:20.301 so far. I know Im losing buckets of time in the first sector and in beckets and maggots, but ill try again tommorow.
When I saw the replay of the fastest guy, it just looks so unnatural, the way they drive so I don't reckon I'll get anywhere near them. Doubt I could get into 18s, at best a low 19 at this stage.
I got an idea to add some intrest into this competition. Why dont we make a time trial championship with all the rounds being a round in the championship. Give points to the winner in each round and see who has the most points at the end. Give double points to the full lap test though.
I only just went through it quick to get gold, did a 23'xxx odd at Silverstone only ran 2 laps though. With more practice could prob get into 21's but I couldn't be bothered. Wish they allowed the one track to play online then I would practice. I was hoping online would unlock I went into Gt5 after hoping some of you would jump in for some la sarthe runs. You were all in gt6 tho
I improved my time to 2:19.087 I think there is loads of improvement in the lap though, i was really slow in the first sector compared to what I've done already and was around 5 tenths off. I've hit my peak for now ill try again later.
I haven't touched it again since release, to lazy to just turn laps without company. One thing that's coming out in the feedback from players is the differing opinions on the body roll. Some ppl just say its purely aesthetic as in its only visual and has no physical relationship to the handling. Others think it definitely effecting the handling............. What do ppl here who played it think? I only played once so I cant be sure but I think it might only be aesthetic too as it didn't really feel that different.
If it is affecting the handling it is not very much Yeah the top runner at the moment is driving like a rally car, which is what upset me most about GT4, with the only way to go fast was to drift. Yes the formula1 guys drive like that but it just seems a bit funny in a normal car, know what I mean?
