Does anyone know if Australia is participating this year? If so we can put all our progress here and see if we can get as much people as possible from Rooz in the Final. GT Academy starts 2nd of July with the release of the Gran Turismo 6 Demo.
AU probably will not be eligible again, thanks to our country's rules You can probably still get the game through the store (although not on an AU account) which is what a lot of us did last time round
Are you serious? Why the hell should we be ineligible? Is it due to our nanny state? I was fuming when I couldn't enter last year. If we are, it's an absolute disgrace.
If its available in oz, could we get some ROOZ T-Shirts made its a prime opportunity to get people in our community.
But there is no listing of any Asian countries in that link surely a Japanese game would hold a Japan academy?
They might add more countrys like last year though after the first round, but a lack of asia as a whole suggests to me they are avioding this part of the world for a reason.
Seperate competition later. Japan is GTs second biggest market not to mention we are on the growing side of the planet, Nissan can't ignore China, India and Indonesia. Last year middle east and South africa where seperate, my guess is this time it will be Asia and hopefully pacific.
We were too good the first time and too far to fly an Aussie over to race in the race series. I did see a post somewhere with some of the great lap times a few people we know did in it. Another conspiracy theory is that Nissan specifically requested to not include Aussies because we upset them one Bathurst many years ago.
