to be honest I'm looking like I am out, forgot it was Mums b'day this weekend and dinner in Rocko at 4pm If I can get out of it anytime suits me. Will say for sure by Thursday morning.
hahahahaha thats funny lol The cane toads and their day light savings boycotting has caused grief for me for ages, living right near the border. Easy enough calc for me, people being late because they can't add or subtract an hour sucks! And why would you worry about fading curtains anyway. When I was 14 with a paper run, we started at 4:50, got all our papers rolled then waited around 5-30 mins for the QLD truck. Out of DST they would get there "earlier". Back to racing, I did a full length custom race last night (a waking baby with fever isn't conducive to online racing and chatting), got 2:11.01 and opt of 2:09. Hope I can replicate anything close to that online! Tried a few combinations of tyre and fuel map, so many possibilities for strategy!!
I saw you come out of the pits when I was fighting with @Jcp and knew if I didn't get moving you would swamp me, I was hoping to put JC between us but that wasn't to happen, Still happy with 7th though.
I am happy for 30-60 mins earlier @Hatfield, does it have to be unanimous, or would the absence of any opposers suffice? ie if some don't respond before the weekend/ race day, are we still OK to call it as changed? Would 1 opposed quash the motion?
if one person says they can't make it earlier, then start time would need to stay the same. if someone doesn't respond, then take that as acceptance. Drivers signed up should be checking the forum prior to race night to ensure they are up to date with the goings on
After the race settled down I would like to have a do over at some stage. I reckon I still wouldn't have come out a winner, but have a good clean race where is racing that gets you the win not offs. Good fun all round, even with the offs.
Only 1 regular driver remains unconfirmed for the time change. Nathancarhead and Purpledog haven't been showing up regularly, thus I haven't counted them in the total of 13 drivers for div4. But as Hat mentioned, all racers should be checking the forums to keep updated on any news.
being in WA, the later the better. but ok with 30min earlier start this round. I thought maybe upcoming weekend's would be postponed due to Vic long weekend?
haha I was thinking your connection is pretty sweet from the States...and must be up late racing each time - dedication!
