Hey peeps, I'm watching a series from this channel on YouTube and it actually is pretty interesting. I remember back in the day they were pretty much a joke of a channel and just seemed to be a couple of guys doing bad car related humor. However! he says, I've been pretty intrigued by a build they are doing, if you are into Japanese cars it might be interesting for you as well. From what I've seen they are trying to wedge a Nissan v8, with turbo into a Stagea. The build looks 'OK', however I know there is a lack of room but the exhaust manifolds look horrible (unless they were on a WW2 fighter) and I would have expected some internal work on the engine unless they are running quite low boost. I won't embed as I haven't checked the rules on YouTube but have a squiz if you are interested. Also is there any related type channels anyone here watches? I like the whole timelapse or episode segmented rebuild/restore videos. edit: looks like URL's auto embed! oh well.
Yeah I've been watching these guys for the past couple of years, they do some pretty strange stuff but they are always entertaining.
Just watched episode 1, might be hooked. I do like Mini's so its lucky it was a rust bucket to do that much alteration. edit: oh and I like cheesy British humor, so it makes my day.
Mighty car mods is awesome haven't watched it for a little while Better get back to their channel to catch up Another cool car channel that's kinda a comedy wish they would make more videos
Now watched all 11 episodes and awaiting the future. That was ALOT of fabrication, and while I am sure their welding is fine (and I can't weld) I would have been more OCD with welding in regards to filling the whole area on everything as opposed to spot welding, plug welding is different and that was fine. The sheer level of "CAD" amazed me though, smart blokes, need their own TV show.
