Hey Guys, Thought I would finally join an online Australian League! Some of you might know me already from GTPlanet, however Name's Scott, 27 from Canberra and pretty keen to get some online Sim racing going on... I have dipped my hand in a few Sim's like RFactor, GTR, and GT 1,2,3 (with controller years ago), and love the F1 games.. However I always stopped because I never knew these types of League's existed... I only picked up GT6 the 2nd week into GT Academy and giving it a red hot go, so I feel much like an Amateur compared to some of the top guys.. However I am growing and getting faster and faster I don't have a racing background, but I have loved circuit racing since i was about 8 years old, and always loved car's... I like to think I have decent knowledge in racing, and car's in general... I always destroy all my mates in racing, So i am pretty keen to put it to the test online with the best! I used to own a number of Rx7's build them myself from the ground up and producing over 400rwkw.. Won the 2009 Summernats Motorkhana, and the 2009 Southcoast Nats U-turn go-whoa. (only two events I have ever entered) Currently I Drive a 2011 Golf R Any ways, I haven't really had a good look over the forum, But i am assuming I will need to do some type of test to be in a division? For mid-week community run racing you can probably get involved with straight away, see current events (sticky topics) here and post your interest. http://raceonoz.com/forums/gran-turismo-6-general-events-discussion.20/ and add some of the guys to your PSN friends list. Hope you have a great time, feel free to ask questions... no such thing as a dumb question... the only dumb question is the one you don'task!!! So, get your qual done, but I would say given your pace you should be looking good for Div 1. Would give you a chance at racing 2-3 other guys who will be at the nationals. We have Warrior, Mint and Mustafur already locked in and Fastboysmith is getting close. I'd say it's a good place to get some top quality online racing practice.
