I've finally been able to make a start on my new rig. When it's done it will be fully adjustable for length, for both wheel and pedals, and height.

^^Only cut to length and layed out. This is its full length.^^

Next step is to work out the angles for the wheel stand, drill and bend pedal plate and wheel plate.
Then weld it all together. Will put more pics up as the project progresses.

yep. Originally planned on upgrading to a G27 and the shifter would hard mount there. It will change slightly now as I'm looking at a Fanatic rim instead.
More than happy to give you the dimensions for it all once I'm done. (make sure its all planned right) Or if you download google sketch up (free), I can send you the file.

I beg to differ with my intense hard work and dedication and long nights behind the g25 I have come to the conclusion that 4to 5 beers minimum = great driving ! I have also had a lab rat to study and I'm sure kart will concur that for him 4 is the magic number .

I finally found some free time to start welding this thing together, only to be stopped soon after starting with unexpected favours for friends being asked. So this is what I managed this afternoon.
just the seat base so far. The incline is to raise the front of the seat base a bit as it is dead flat if bolted to a flat surface.

Will be another few weeks until I manage to get some more time to work on it, but will continue to put up picks as I make progress for those who are interested.

Unfortunately no. been real busy lately. Did get to spend 15 min on it this afternoon, but that was just laying out the angles for the wheel support. Now I just need to cut those pieces and it will be almost all the parts ready to be put together. Also drilled the holes out to mount the seat. Really want to get it finished though.

@Clevohead I know your following this.
Got some more time spent on the rig today, hopefully some more tomorrow as well.
this is in its fully open position. The pedals are just layed out for now. Seperate adjustments for pedal length and wheel length. Have another plate that needs to be trimmed down to size and then welded on. Next up is the wheel deck.
And this is fully collapsed. Just got to work on the wheel deck itself now. this will be over the seat base almost touching the backrest in this position. (see plans in post above)

Did a bit more this morning. Everything is fabricated (maybe more add ons?) just needs to be welded out and painted. Then castor brackets made for ease of storage.

Any more progress on this? Fantastic job with the metal work and I love how neatly it all folds together.

Not yet. Haven't had the time latley. Just been using it as is. Have to finsih welding it out and adding some flip up castors for ease of moving. When I finally get a chance to get it all done, I'll add some more pics of it. In hindsight, I should have made it around 100mm or so narrower. Could possibly cut it down, but would be alot of work.
