Just throwing this out there as this looks like the best place for it, but how does the corvette stack up against the fg? Could create a ford/gm battle? I haven't driven either but I've been thinking about it all day. Knowing my luck one will be too powerful so it will not be possible.
They both produce pretty similar outright laptimes around Bathurst, but they achieve their laptime in such a different way it's not worth it imo. Vette would ruin the FG at the top of the mountain, but in the straights the FG would run away like a bat outta hell Maybe if Ford produce a half decent GTE car we could have some fun, but looking at the Daytona 24, we have a long way to go till Ford figure out what 'reliability' is
ok guys, everything is set in concrete now regarding date, the time may be shifted forward up to 2 hours but its not likely, also, network teams will not be apart of this event, it requires far to much work, its a full time gig for one person that is required to be in the lobby at all times, its also can be inaccurate through the distance of the race, it may make a return in a future event but that will be one we do on GTP most likely,
still awaiting further confirmation of participation or non participation of these people, I know Konnor and Fastboy have already said they cant, please get to me asap please,
ok so I've got confirmation from all apart from these guys, TBA/ @TheJuzzy/ @emuegg11 #15/ @Blue XR8/ @ikilledskippy Still keen??? these 2 will put us up to 8 teams if they confirm, Maybe ask @X-WTF_MAN-X as he is registered as looking in Brisbane, also @Samsung1998racer is at the Gold Coast, maybe also @VARDZ might be interested seeing as @Fastboysmith cant make it,
I'm still working on a co driver in the ACT and as it turns out a mate of mine races project cars on his XBOX so I'm hoping he's half good and keen to race if not I'd be hoping vh-mik will be up for it or any ACT members really
