yes. it is interesting as you have no say in where you end up, and so you can form the most unlikely of friendships sometimes...
Is it division specific? Ie captains choose racers say 3 in each div? Or is it one big pool of talent?
In previous seasons each team captain(8 teams) has a budget which is determined by where they finished the previous season... highest placed team has the smallest budget...1st round is each team has 3 unchallenged retainees at $10 more than they were attained for the previous season.. these drivers can't be retained unchallenged 2 years in a row. the subsequent rounds are highest bidder wins...these are done over a 24 hour period... if 2 or more teams have the same bid on a driver, bids are increased until a team out bids the others. Each team must have at least 1 driver in all divisions in both platforms.
It is in a Captains best interest to get a driver in each division as there is more chance for more points. If you have 2 drivers in a division, only one of them can come first...but in 2 divisions they both have a chance at both coming first...if you get my meaning
it can seem confusing, but only Captains have to worry about it, and I guide them through it on a step by step basis
This seems really cool. We had a taste of it in Vardz's HTO series but not with a budget. Nice work with the prep in thought that's gone into it
"No you win, no you win". "No please you cross the line first, no please it has to be you." hahaha that would only happen once! It's gonna be a hard season if we're not on the same team. (maybe the team El-Capitans are reading this and it may sway their dollars to vote for us both) lol
First instruction " If changing gear's with paddle shifter , make sure your Beer or Bourbon can be easily accessed with you left hand . that way you can have a drink while pulling gear's down a main strait " . Note , Instructions must be followed .
Hey guys, Got recommended to come her by Spidey and keen to join in on Season 2. Let me know if I need to post a quali time and FYI, I'm at setups but from what I read it's a no-tune series so ALL GOOD (Thank god). Feel free to add me on psn (zuluwoffle) and I look forward to jumping in on some casual races as well.
