there's nothing wrong with playing the team game... but normally the car vote is trying to find the car MOST drivers will be happy with. Save the team game for the actual racing season
Your the one saying PRT are doing the team game. PRT just seem to be the one team voting in greater numbers. Its nothing more. I'd be more interested in the lack of interest being shown by others. Tried the dino last night on CS with some of you boys... While initially it is a pig, you have to get used to it and be extremely gentle... and then it is still a pig but a better behaved pig... had no pace though... seems like it will suit some more than others afraid at possible protests from tiny bumps causing massive spins
It will require careful selection of tracks, bends such as Skyline at Bathurst could be treacherous in a car that doesn't require throttle or brake to induce oversteer. So pretty much any track that has weight coming off the car in a fast bend.
I'll drive again tonight to be sure, but as much as the Deano (Aussie spec Dino) is a peach of a thing to drive (drift) it's just too hard to gain the 2-3 carlengths in a straight to make a clean pass. I don't think it'll be a good season car, crashes and protests galore as previously mentioned by others. Unless we can tune Deano to around 300HP.. .
If this is the final season of Gran Turismo 6 before everyone moves over to Gran Turismo Sport, then I think it could be a bit of fun to allow tuning to a certain PP (easier to enforce). Only Gripe I got with the Dino is the 5th gear ratio which feels like a double overdrive.
One day Rooz will tune race cars. It will be the same day I'm finally as fast on wheel as a controller making the availability of tuning entirely irrelevant for me. Trouble is that might be another 10 years so who knows.
New series idea? Take it to the Track (TITTT). Fully tuneable race cars, different PP categories? Sorry for digressing.
can just imagine some over the top US commentator saying 'and the winner of the double d cup is bryanF'
