    It doesn't unfortunately.
    Reason is that it leaves uncertainty of who can be selected as joker for the rest of the season.
    If the joker is nicko and he ends up not running in the event, then it needs to fall to first reserve. But if you use it on yourself in a later round, then it becomes an illegal joker as it should be placed on you for the round that was re-run.
    Confusing but already established by myself and all Captains when it first became an issue.
