My times don't look too flash!!. It shows though that the Mods
 got the Div breakup pretty right except for a couple of exceptions.

    I think tokyo is one of those tracks that you either got it or you don't as its really hard to be consistent with all the walls.

    Monaco will be a similar scenario but it will be much harder to pass.

    Yes, I must say I am not really looking forward to Monaco, I know I won't qualify well and there will be very little oportunity to pass. I didn't do very well there in the world tour in the Ferrari California, 'twas fun though.

    So I saw the thread at 7:30 or so (due to notification breakage) and after. Being on the turps for a few hours with neighbours decided to go in, seeing as my name was on the list. Realised the car of choice wasn't run in, had no practice of any sort, had no exposure to the cars idiosyncrasies so 1/2 thru decided to park up to stop being an interference to the other drivers. I will be running the car in this week and will a tally get some practice in.

    Regardless of the reasons for it all, I should have checked the forums more in the last few weeks, rather than relying on the technology to do it for me ;)

    Thanks TB, I was wondering how you top Div 3 guys went compared to the lower end Div2, namely me. Your lap times were much faster than mine and I was wondering how we compared over the race distance. I don't know if you were able to cruise it in though, I was pushing pretty hard chasing Ven and Disto.

    Definitely didnt cruise. After being held up with my kids, I missed qualy and the race started mere secs after I got on track so had to start at the back of the pack. Made one position of the line and only barely missed a stalled car on the grid then out-braked myself into turn one, Thought my race was sure to be a dud at this point. Then to reinforce that idea I collected Clevo going through the kink down the back straight(sorry again mate) and lost loads of time giving the position back. All this before lap 2. Head down committed to a one stop hoping others might two stop, and they did. Stopped myself on lap 13 and came out right next to Bruce in third. Unfortunatley he ran in too hot into turn 1 and third was mine. Headed off down the road to catch Sparkles and Darko who i thought would have to stop again with Darko stopping on la p? and Sparkles lap 10? Darko pditted an I caught sparkles only for him to push through with only one stop. Managed to get by and was just a matter of holding on with Darko coming home hard with fresh tyres. A 14 sec lead ended up being on 2.5 I think at the end.

    Long story short, no I didnt cruise. lol

    yeah it was an eventful race. by memory darko finished a few seconds behind TB and then i was about 6 to 10 seconds behind him. it seemed like we were all pushing quite hard. I'm actually looking forward to playing underdog to darko and tb williams this season, it's gonna be a good one.
