people simply shouldnt be voting if they are not signed up for season 3. if youre not locked in to race for the season then dont vote. there is a few who have voted but are not in the entry list, as has been pointed out already.
Well if Radical doesn't make it I reckon next round is a landslide Formula C. Still, I'd like to see all the people who voted put their names down for season 3 as it's a bit daft to vote on what others drive.
I think the mods will make it a 3 way fight for the final poll. It's far too close to knock one of the top 3 out when there we don't necessarily know which is everyone's first preference at this point. Whilst the V8SC might be on 21 votes, those votes might be mainly consisting of 2nd preferences at this stage, which would be unfair to knock the Radical out if it's 20 votes are all 1st preferences for eg. There were also people who only voted for 1 car and indicated where they want their second vote to go, was early in the thread. Will be home tomorrow from a few days off so will look at it then.
Nothing is ever simple these days ! Perhaps we add the top 3 for a 1 week poll, given they are so close and the possibility that some drivers may have either changed their mind, or a lot of people took the FC as their 2nd choice. @Ad2mny what do you think ? Is very close between all 3 cars.
Because then there will have to be a 3rd poll. 3 cars one vote if one car gets 50% or more it is unquestionably the season 3 car else the top 2 go through to a face-off.
Why can't it be like GT6 Season 6? 3 cars went into the final poll and despite being relatively close for votes between the 3, the winner was selected. One vote per person, 3 options, most votes wins. Shouldn't need to be a 3rd poll if its all based on 1st preferences.
Well its simple really. Theres a clear distinction between the handling characteristics of two cars and the other. From the the first poll the most common pair of cars voted for was the radical and FC. There's a clear divide in the forum there's those who want the v8sc and those who want anything but the v8sc. Those who want anything but the V8SC will have their votes split between 2 cars. In short the likely hood of the V8SC winning a 3 car poll is almost a given but if the 1st preference winner out of the radical and FC were to go up against the v8sc it would win comfortably. With my view there's the argument of why not simply going to a vote of the FC vs radical but thats not going to go down well.
3 car poll with one vote only otherwise we'll still be discussing this for weeks lol. Sooner we get the voting done sooner we can choose appropriate tracks and get going again. Even if we start the poll tomorrow and end it sunday? 5 days should be plenty?

I got an idea.....let's move on and get racing. Seriously though, why not use these 3 cars over the next 3 seasons. Saves all the stuffing about with polls.
