Season 5 Discussion

Was a bit of a mixed bag but in the end got lucky on strategy I think. Had good pace thanks to team setup qualified first First start was good, found my self 3 secs in front in 1/2 lap but much contact at the back, happy to restart...
Second time not so good, bogged on the line, got swamped at t1, ran wide, came out of t3 fighting for 5th with carlos. Scramble past pete and settle in behind mael. Damn moth starts flying around the screen as finishing lap 1 and find myself running banging into pit wall , minor damage, I'll have to live with it. Sit with mael till lap 3 but bj's running away at the front, gotta move! Make a bit of a dive on mael (sorry ) and hang on to bj about 3-4 secs behind. He pits on lap 9, not sure if he had an issue but came out 40 secs behind (I was expecting around 30????). Splash n dash on lap 14 puts me in font by 10, Took it easy to line . Looking forward to race 2 (albeit with a bag of bricks)

EDIT: @Anon666 just having a look at Brno for next week.... 25laps?? I ran 2:30s, race would be over an hour?... and, can you update the fuel,tyre,temps etc... for each event in the first post (need server settings for ballast practice )

Hi Guys,

I won't be racing in this first part of the season.
9.30AEST start time is 11pm for me and that's just Practice, not qualifying.
Once daylight savings drops away it'll much more civilised for me.
If it was a decent car I might have been tempted but after trying to put laps together last night it became clear that sleep was a much better option.
