Cockpit Show us your Simulator Cockpit setup

Yeah, and to be honest it's still not great, however im coming from a 2k monitor... However the feels is beyond the care point of how good it looks... It 'feels' like i'm sitting in the car and it looks good enough to pass!

Ill end up upgrade if the CV2 is good enough for the upgrade... for now, I have it and it's awesome! I seriously recommended people that have 3 screens to reinvest into something like this! However I also recommend you try one out first before you buy.. Alot of people are getting motion sickness from them, so they sell them... I picked mine up for a bargain 800!

Yeah I see how that would be a pain! now - if you have a mouse or keyboard close by you can get around it... It's not 100% crystal clear however you can make out what it is in the menu..... I will need to get some vid up at some point!

Has anyone with a VR headset experimented with a seatbelt strapping you tightly into the seat, so that in addition to being held into the cockpit, you also have the headset weight 'feeling' like a helmet? I reckon with seatbelts, and the helmet vision facade put onto your screen, you've got max immersion, so that's one of the first things I want to do in VR!

@Crunch, My rig has race type seat belts fitted - I have a helmet with inbuilt speakers and I run two transducers (shakers) bolted to the seat frame. When u are strapped in tight being pushed a bit more into the seat makes the back of the helmet sit on the headrest which picks up all the vibrations. I have had this for several years. Though not VR, the limited view through the helmet and all the vibes is a bit of a laugh and adds some extra realism.

Yeah what Rolz put up is what I got. I just took the gear shifter post from the left hand side (as I have my shifter up next to my wheel) spun it around and bolted it back on to the right hand side and attached it to that. It works well.

yeah i saw that. never thought to do that, but ill do something similar i think.

The only thing I have in common with your rig is a $9 tablet holder

was hoping to update my sim rig setup pic with new next level racing seat today but it hasnt been delivered yet

ok edit lol it arrived about 30mins after i made the post.finally got to have a quick drive in a amg gt3 on assetto corsa wrearing oculus rift and omg being in a bucket seat which wraps around your head and then being in the amg gt3 with a racing seat felt like i was really in the car i really need a motion seat or at least a butt kicker now haha

whats that white stuff all over the seat you and killer have some extra fun when you picked it up zharvs ??????
