TOHOKU Caterham International Endurance Race.

Respects to those affected by the March 11th 2011 earthquake in Tohoku, Japan.

Guys, at the moment I'm going with 11:30am AEDT. I may be able to start the event 2-3 hrs later but still not sure yet so on the safe side, 11:30am AEDT.

Who can I add to the starting list?

Seido, just to save confusion on GTP due to the international exposure: it might be better to use GMT on future races you post up there. I have noticed that a lot of folk there get/are confused with timings when you use the phrase AEDT even with the converter being linked.. In your defence, most of them appear to be Americans :lol:

11:30 AEST is perfect for me this w/end. 10:30 I should have been fine but still pushing the limit due to being out earlier in the morning now this weekend, which would have made it hard to guarantee my being home in time

If you hadn't already figured it out, I live life on a whim and stuff occurs randomly; I never make plans as they usually fail anyway.

I'm going to make some slight adjustments to the in-game track times.

Guys, we just need a few more confirmations for the race to go ahead.

Event start time is now 1 hr later from 13:30 aedt Saturday. We will get 3 drivers from gtplanet as pretty much starters fro the race.

Zampli, are you able to make it this Saturday?

yeah i hope so seido, been sick for past 5 days, but ive still been playing GT5 so that wont put me off! so mid range turbo is the only mod allowed? just hoping so i dont have to try and tune suspension lol.

Tuning is unlimited with a 207bhp cap but with mid range turbo, standard LSD and no ECU.. so maybe not so unlimited haha

Ok, so now we have 6 confirmed drivers for the race! with a few more that may attend..

Any other takers? it will be a great race. A couple of the guys from gtplanet are quick drivers too... and the track is great for the Caterham.

I'll try to open the event about 10-15 prior to Qualy so we can warm up.

For the next Caterham enduro, let's run a longer race, 90-120mins
For longer enduro races I prefer tracks that have time/weather.
So how does the Nord sound guys? put down your names if your keen.
I think I can host an enduro on the 17th from the same time as this weekend's event.

What a great start to that race! great driving from Zampli and Livewire, we battled hard and clean for the first 5-6 laps.

Thanks to everyone who showed up! 7 on the grid. 1hr 15 race time which ran into the dark which was a good test also the reflections on the signs and the low sun made for that extra challenge.

I did not expect to win this race and on top of that, by about 2:00mins! I did run wide into the "wall" a few times and after it got dark I lost my concentration on one corner and but managed to just brush the wall. (zamp did get D/C with 2 laps to go though)
Would love to re run this race and battle again! Would love to re run this race and battle again! * adding a few laps to the 22 would make it more interesting too. I only had to make one stop on RS tyres.

Next weekend, same car, about a 90 min race at The Ring! if it rains we won't have to worry about visibility in this car haha

Yeah, bad luck Zamp When I went past you and saw that your car was pushing to one side of the track after being so fast I figured something was up.
