GT6 [WIP] World Race Car Series - Expressions of interest

Hi all,

I was thinking about creating a series using race cars from around the world...with a bit of a twist.

I'm thinking probably 5 races at the 5 (arguably) best world circuits in the game.

• Nurburgring Nordschleife
• Suzuka GP
• Spa
• Bathurst
• Brands Hatch GP / Silverstone GP / Fuji GP / Motegi GP / Laguna Seca (poll to decide)

Cars:

• Honda HSV-010 base model
• TBA
• TBA
• TBA
• TBA

The twist is, everyone gets to use all 5 cars, but you can choose which track you want to use each car at.
You can only use each car once in the series. This opens up strategy a little bit so people can drive to their strengths.

I'm undecided about tuning yet. The tuning models in GT6 seem to be rubbish, so might just leave it as stock. Going with stock, NO TUNING.
Tyres will be mixed, but there will definitely be a car on the lower end of the power scale...and it will use Sport Tyres.
Pit stops won't be mandatory, but the way I'm thinking of setting it up means you'd be crazy not to

Let me know if this sounds like something you'd be interested in and I'll come up with some cars, do some testing and get a calendar together.

There is also a poll to decide the final track so cast your vote. Hope to get a full grid!

I'd be looking at starting this in April or May.

Count me in,my style of racing!!!I want to beat you fair & square,not have you DSC,just as i've closed from 6 secs back to 2 secs,right at the crucial part of the race,the beginning of the 2nd stint!Remember Rome in the Citroen GT? It was me or you for the win for sure,we both had a couple of secs on the field,while cruising,3.5 to 4,going hard!LOL "I'm not a psycho,i don't save up every little detail of my good races & forget the bad ones alltogether,no,not me!"LOL I only formally reserve #26 on any numbered racecars e.g.Jaguar XJ-13 Racecar(hint,hint)lol

I hadn't thought of a classic race car...but might throw one in, you never know!

Sound like a cracker Lee. I'm in provisionally, depending on dates and times.

If it gets up and running I'll add it to the ROC list as well. Just keep me posted as to if it goes ahead.

Sounds fantastic. There have been some great race concepts coming around recently, and the fact that there are more and more of them appearing all the time is awesome to see.

Just as a quick suggestion, I reckon the Lotus Elise Race Car '96 would be sweet for the series, I can see myself using that on the Nordschleife!

Hi guys,
I'll hopefully be able to start getting back into things in the next couple of weeks.
I'll get some testing done and try and finalise a car list for this event.

I'm still 100% doing this one, just need to get my shoulder sorted and we'll be away

Quick note Lee, to make into S1 ROC it will need to be done soon. ROC is on the 6th of April.
Otherwise I'll put in the mix for S2
