Division 4 season 10

I can hardly believe it myself, I thought my race was over before it began.

...and then in all the excitment, I forgot to save the damn replay!!!

emmo46 is gonna try send it to me if he can though so photo's may take a little bit longer than usual.

Firstly I need to commend the guys on a clean race with little incident, it was a shame about Greendog's lag and DSC, but I read some of the other Divs had connection issues too.

Well was uneventful for me, and as Qik said consistency was the key, when I was running consistent laps I would reel Colin in, and stuff something up and start all over again :/ Col and I were leap frogging for the last several laps, with both of us making regular mistakes, no real close exciting racing.

And I believe the amount of practice you put in reflects the result from the race, unfortunately work is priority at the moment and I had no time for practice last week.

With more prac I probably would have enjoyed it more.

What a race, Firstly congrats to AD, Serg and Quik. I thought I had a chance at pole but
Green dog put in a fabulous 14 sumthin to get pole and I started 2nd.
On the run to the first chicane I had the inside running into the right hander but was conscious
of giving Greeny room and he ran around the outside to lead into the exit left hander.
He had a narrow entry and ran a little wide and I cut across the back of him and tried to run up
the left side heading to the sweeper. I ran wide and he got back on line and we touched.
We both ended up on the left of the track and Serg was charging up the right side into the sweeper. I slowed to let Greeny stay ahead and as we started into the sweeper he moved a little left and I put wheels into the grass and Quik got past me while I fought to keep it straight.
I went into the second chicane 4th behind Serg, Greeny and Quik but ran straight on into the barrier with two others following me in. I got going again but now was fifth with Ad2 just ahead of me.
We ran like that with Serg, Green dog and Quik about 8 seconds ahead of Ad2, me and CW. Quik then had a moment and fell back to sixth behind CW.Green dog also had a moment and fell back between Ad2 and Me and on the next lap Serg had his moment and we came up behind him running slowly on the kink on the way to ascari. We all ran wide into the grass trying not to hit him. At this time I was third only about 3 seconds back from Ad with Serg charging along behind me. He passed me into the first chicane and in trying to get back ahead I ran into the sand on the outside of Ascari and finished it off with a net 180 spin getting back onto the track. CW and Green dog passed me and were about six seconds ahead, so I set about trying to catch up.
CW had a small moment and I managed to pass him but handed it straight back with another off track moment ( I had about a dozen in all, Doh) I tried to catch CW but kept making mistakes (my car handled like crap after all the whacks) and I was wondering whether I should keep chasing him for the 2 points it was worth or put on fresh tyre and get the point for fastest lap. Xsirdave was far enough behind for me for me to pit and keep 5th place (green dog had gone by then). Coming onto the main straight on lap 14 about 10 secs behind CW I had a big spin into the inside wall and my car was showing red spots all over so I gathered it up and headed straight to the pits.
The fresh rubber helped me put in a couple of laps in the mid 15s and I hoped that would get me FL.
On the 19th lap I ran wide into the second chicane and then decided to just follow Clevo home (he was a lap down). On the last corner he had a wobble so I decided to drag race him to the line (I lost that as well)
I finished over a minute and a half behind feeling very despondant because in full race practices I had run the 21 laps under 49 minutes and that would have netted me 2nd place.
Enough looking back, the weather forecast for next week looks excellent and I am looking forward to making amends at GV

Does anyone know how I can get the saved race replay to Ad2?
