In light of our last minute calendar change, The Race Of Champions will also be pushed back a single week and will now take place on the 24th of September 2023. If this affects anyones availability, please let me know asap and I will reflect this in the attendance sheet.

Otherwise, I look forward to releasing details about this event soon!

With the date change I will have to withdraw from this event. Ironically I will be staying at the Rydges Hotel on Conrod straight that night. I will give a wave as you all pass by.

Not yet, Still considering whether or not to put it to a vote or just pick the circuit that will promote the best racing. What I can say for sure is that it'll be from this season's calander, and it won't be Grand Valley..

Morning all,

I am thrilled to announce that the next BJH Memorial Race Of Champions will be held at Trial Mountain. An absolute relic of GT, and a circuit that BJ himself triumphed at in the very first GT6 Race Of Champions.

Due to the high number of entrants, I will be holding Time Attack style sessions on both Friday and Saturday nights prior to the event (22nd and 23rd of September) in order to confirm the 15 drivers that will take part in the official event. These sessions will take place at Trial Mountain with the same lobby settings that will be utilised for Sunday's main event. Failure to attend either one of these sessions will result in automatic forfeiture of your ROC spot. I will however be running a "Race of Second Fiddles" for those who do not qualify for the main event. This will be the same staggered style event, however without the pre event lap of honour and livestream.

Qualifying criteria for the main event will not be judged by speed, Instead it will be a 6 lap dash for drivers to set the quickest, MOST CONSISTENT, lap times possible. There will also be an attempt by organisers to even out the grid in terms of pace and ensure it is not purely filled with Div 1 drivers either, for this reason, we would appreciate it if there was no public backlash in terms of those who make the main event, and those who do not. We already recognise that it will be difficult enough given the current 25+ entry list.

More than happy to just assume everyone can make at least one of those dates. Closer to the event, I'll make an attendance sheet. More so if someone who knows they can't make it can let me know here, it would be appreciated.
