Ok just realised there's a fairly large update. Just kicked it off now, but im not sure if it will be done in time for the 8pm start. Ill let you guys know here closer to 8pm.
Im Happy with that. im surprised how Strong my connection is i noticed with the Grid start with False check. GT6 added lights
Do we all need to have done the download or will it not make a difference if some have and some haven't?

My estimate is I'll have the download finished at 8:15pm, how long does it take to install? At some point can the guys online/in game consider how long they might wait for some of us to get the update done? I really don't want to miss the race but if enough of you don't want to wait...I'm fine with that. Just putting it out there, that I want you to wait lol. The question is how long...
Nope I can't sign in unless I do the update. Making the call now, I will not be racing tonight. Off to flog the living crap outta my punching bag!!!!!!!!
Jako155 thanks but I've had to restart the download twice already since first trying 20-30 mins ago. It's currently at 9% and I don't want to stuff anyone's race around, so thanks but I race next time.
Ok, when I said 5 I meant to say 20 minutes. I mean I'd be happy to forgo qualy to cut down some time BUT yeah, if I'm stretching things too far now, just let me know and I'll sit this one out In fact, the 'time left' indicator is all over the place now saying 30 minutes left Start without me, and I'll just jump on when I'm sorted and watch.
